Looked so promising when we arrived. The lobby is clean, modern, and inviting. But after opening the door to my king sized room my smile turned to grimace! The room smelled like an old woman’s living room! The bed was old and you could feel the springs in the mattress. The recliner was literally falling apart, it would lean severely to the left if you dared sit in it. There is no elevator. You have to use stairs to get to floor 2. If you have a big suitcase you better be in great shape or you will have a heart attack! Bring a tent to Waukesha before you stay here. Why 2 stars? Breakfast was good!

I also strongly disagree with the first review below for this hotel. This is the only hotel I stay at in the area when I’m in town for business. The rooms are well-equipped with useful amenities and are cozy in décor. The breakfast is a great value and has a nice spread of options to choose from. The location is ideal, clean and quiet; the staff is always courteous and knowledgeable, and the price is always economic!

The staff is really nice, but damn! This hotel is terrible. I was in town for a weekend of high school reunion events and was going to be spending all of my time out and about. So, I wanted a hotel that was cheap and wasn’t to particular since I was only going to be sleeping there. Unfortunately, I didn’t get much sleep here. The walls are really thin and the patrons are really sketchy. My neighbors checked in at 1 a.m. one night and made a lot of noise hauling all of their belongings into the room. In addition to the constant door slamming, it sounded like they were moving furniture around. Everything about this hotel is out dated. I didn’t even want to partake in the continental breakfast, which is odd because I love free waffles.
