Best place to thrift in the greater MKE area. This is a huge location with everything, my fiancé and I always stop here when we are in town. While their season stuff can be spotty they have solid clothing, books/movies, mugs, luggage, furniture, and so much more. If you are looking to furnish a room on the cheap this is your stop! If you enjoy thrifting or resell on ebay this place is also a must! Service is friendly and when you leave they have that day expired loaves of bread.

I wish the St. Vincent’s by me was this large! I like this place. I am glad I came. Quite organized and clean. Great selection of furniture, 2 book sections, many dvds, even ones you would actually want to buy! More pictures than Carter has peanuts! Greeting cards at 50 cents each, 99 cent clothes rack, $ 1.99 clothes rack. I spent an hour or two browsing. Shoes all over the place, purses, clothing, need I go on? I tried to take different pictures so that you could get an idea.

NOTE: This business has moved to a location on Sunset, and the map has yet to be moved, despite multiple requests. That said, this St. Vinnie’s is a massive upgrade from the dingy, cramped space it used to reside in across town. This new spacious occupation of a former grocery store is bright, airy, and well-organized. There’s space to walk between aisles, and things are kept neatly separated and coordinated. The prices are still the typical, inexpensive SVdP prices youd expect, but there are also some sundries and inexpensive new items to buy here, like the kind of stuff that most Goodwill locations now also stock. Overall, this is a great thrift experience. They have the most spacious furniture and framed art section of any thrift store in SEWI. Their clothing racks stretch as far as the eye can see, and they have lots and lots of books in a nifty cubby area that makes one feel like sitting down and reading in the store. So take a drive over to the Sunset location. It’ll be worth the trip.

Every time I am in the neighborhood, I try to give this place another try. Well another time, where I see nothing that I am interested in or the price is just too much. When this store was located on Main Street in downtown Waukesha, the prices were great. Now that they have moved to the south side of town on Sunset Drive, the prices have become too high. Customer service is extremely spotty. The volunteers are usually friendly but the paid staff is surly at best. Bah humbug to people with snotty attitudes. I get more kindness out the fellow customers. My suggestions: Lower the prices and have more specials like they do at the Salvation Army. Also inform your employees that common courtesy towards the customer is mandatory, not an option.

This actually moved to Sunset Drive in Waukesha. Store is very clean. Really nice variety and they are organized very well. Large furniture section. Large baby section as well. Staff is sparse but still acceptable service
