I’ve been to this icombat twice now and the staff just keeps getting worse. No change! They are very unhelpful, just mess around with each other and unprofessional, 1 employee was on our team for a game and just killed us all off and not the other team because they’re all«friends» so just unfair. The one in Gurnee, IL was a whole lot better and very helpful.

I wish I could have given this place a higher rating as it does have potential. We arrived a half hour early as they had asked, I felt this to be unnecessary. The check in could have been done with us arriving ten to fifteen minutes early. So we sat and waited. Some customers who had played here previously took pity on us and showed us where we could observe the group ahead of us playing. This should have been done by the staff. At about ten minutes prior to the start of our session the rest of the group showed up. A bunch of older teens and twenty something with nothing better to do on a beautiful Friday night. They checked in and quickly staged themselves at the doorway to the equipment room. Why you might ask, because they wanted a specific gun and knew how the process worked. If you want the short guns, grab a vest with a red patch by the number that says«Waukesha»(they usuals shouldn’t be the only ones that get these). As we are getting ready to head on to the field of play, they run out of magazines for this mock«M16» rifles. We are told we will have to get our on the field, not a big deal but they should have had enough on hand. We get to the start point and two of our guns don’t want to register that there is a magazine inserted. That gets taken care of, for know, and we are informed to take the funds off of safety. As a fun owner and combat vet, this is foreign to me and my wife had the same thought, I could tell by the look on her face. Now we have all manner of individual offering us advice, so not only an I a combat vet, but my wife is a certified weapons instructor. There advise was not taken to graciously by us. We, my wife and I, continued to have issues with the guns every time we loaded a new magazine. The field of play was to crowded. They need to cut down the max numbers playing. I found myself be eliminated more times because I was trying to avoid my own team mates heading back to the recharge station. As I stated this place has potential, they staff needs to recognize new players better, they need to inform them off the entire process, cut back the max number, and may be do away with the silly magazine. My son and his friend had a blast.

This place is a blast! Fun the for whole family, provided your kids are 13+. Great layout, fast paced action game. It is expense at $ 30 for a session, but in my opinion it is well worth it. The sessions last 90 minutes, and your first time there plan to arrive approximately 15 minutes early in order to complete your initial enrollment. I suggest making a reservation, and if you have 10 or more friends, you can do a private session, which may be worth it. I try to go on Thursdays when the sessions are $ 20. Their website is great and you can check your stats online. This is way better than Ultra Zone-and you can use more realistic weaponry. On certain nights, they have 18+ games with pistols and electronic shock belts, so there is incentive not to get ‘hit’. My son and his friends can’t wait to go back-nor can I! Too bad it is an hour plus drive…
