I love Meyer Farms. They have such great staff, one person in particular who is always so helpful and even excited to share all of the Meyer’s products — his name is Scott. He has a hand in all of it, and even makes the salsa (which is AMAZING).
They have a lot of selection, and the best tomatoes I have ever eaten. I am so glad this place is near me and organic. SO Perfect.

Meyer Farms is a hidden gem of the Fox Valley, where «eating local» is more than a marketing catchphrase. Located on about 50 acres between Wauconda and Island Lake, they grow a variety of vegetables year round and sell them directly to the public. In winter months, they grow in a greenhouse. They also sell a variety of sauces, eggs, honey, etc. Yes it’s expensive but the produce is so excellent and fresh. Very friendly staff. It’s such a cool feeling to know that your dinner was quite literally on the farm this morning.
