first apt there (and with palo alto medical group), beautiful location, clean building… as it was my first time there, i was handed a clip board with 10 — 15 pages to read and fill out. i asked for a place to sit with a ledge, desk, hard surface so that i could fill out the paper work… no, no, no… not possible
this was a sign… if this is the way patients are treated in the outer office, i do not want to know what it is like in the inner office…
i an not sure that palo also medical center is right for me so i left, contacted the powers that be and requested to have my information removed from their records. sad, sad, sad… almost like socialized medicine, incredibly unprofessional and uncaring.

Unless you come in at 8:30 pm this place is soooooo sloooooow. Nothing urgent about them. Will do anything to go elsewhere next time. We left after 2 hours and nothing happening. Maybe people have extra time to spare but we don’t and this place couldn’t care less.

Make sure you have hours to spare while dealing with these folks. You will be on hold at least 5 minutes each time you call. You will talk to someone different each time you call. And none of them are on the same page when it comes to scheduling an appt. for you. This had happened to me not once, not twice, but three times. And I’ve only been here three times over the last two years. Super frustrating dealing with all that is PAMF!

I’ve been to this place many times, mostly in the «urgent care» section. You get a random doctor. Some are OK, but mostly they seem to dismiss what I have to say and tell me I’m fine and should go back to work. There are always lectures about how they shouldn’t prescribe antibiotics, even though I never ask for it. Most recently I had the flu and went there 3 times. They did virtually nothing for me and told me to go back to work, even if I still felt sick and had a fever. I developed a long-​lasting cough and didn’t bother going back. I don’t think I’ll ever go there again unless I’m really desperate.
