Henry J Mello Center For Performing Arts

I went to the Henry Mello center to see Ozomatli with my date. The show was great. It was nice to see the band still put on a good small time show even after their grammy success and various album releases. They rocked the house and we made the best of the awkward seating layout. The music is made to dance to and even the band was trying to break out of this rigid venue.
Before the show I asked about the seats with the best sound in the house so my date and I ended up on the balcony. This meant that we were more restricted from dancing and the view was not the greatest since we were the furthest from the stage, but it was worth it since the audio was fantastic.
The tickets were not overpriced and we were even greeted by the mayor of the town!
Overall we worked with what we were given and wiggled in our chairs.

Went for a ballet recital and the sound system was so bad & loud that I had to leave because my ears & head started hurting.

Nice place! 778 seating capacity, clean and new.
I was here for a Middle Eastern dance show and there isn’t a bad seat in the house. I don’t know what it’s like backstage yet… (I will in the future, as I will be performing at an upcoming event) but the sound and lights were great from the audience and I had a great time.
Very straightforward directions to get here. I’d happily go to another show here in the future.
