Fiber Arts In the Glen

I loved this shop until I purchased a defective skein of yarn and received no refund or credit for it. It was described as mink yarn and cost me approx $ 30 for one skein. After I purchased it I received a notice saying it was being recalled because it wasn’t really mink. I brought it back and was told that I had received the correct yarn and the recalled yarn was a different yarn. I was satisfied with this explanation and was not in any rush to make the shawl that I had intended to make with it. A number of months later I made the yarn into a ball to knit with and noticed that it literally fell apart with the slightest effort. I brought it back to the store and the person there that day was surprised to see it pull apart when I showed it to her. She called the owner and instead of at least offering me a store credit, gave me the name and number of the company from where it came. As if I stand a chance in heck of getting anywhere with them. I am very disgruntled and disappointed with the customer service or more, the lack of customer service I received. If I can at least get a store credit I will reverse my very low rating for this shop.
