Original Italian Pizza

I love this place!!! Pizza is good but wings are absolutely fantastic… Be sure to try the honey garlic char broiled!

Before I loved this place but delivery lately has been slacking. I live 4 min from the place and it took over 90 minutes to get my food.

What could one say about pizza that hasn’t been said before. People have been trying to recreate this timeless classic since the day it was first created. Maybe that’s what I liked about OIP.
This pizza isn’t trying to be new or fancy, just plain good olé fashioned pizza. It cut out all the flair in lieu of great taste. OIP has gone back to basics in a time when people would rather recreate the wheel.
At first I was taken aback by their selection. Once again the repeating theme is basic. I choose what I always do with pizza, Hawaiian. It was good. Large pieces of ham and pineapple on top of a very cheesy crust. The crust is what I think won it over for me. It was almost as it were a toasty bread roll over a pizza dough. Crunchy, flaky and best of all, flavorful.
While he pizza was good the clear cut winner of tonight’s dinner had to go to the wings. I first read that it was syracuse’s first and original wings. With a title of first k had to try it. I was not disappointed. It came in a box with ten wings, blue cheese and celery stick. Truth be told I could do without the celery but to each their own.
When it comes to a staff one could not ask for better service. It was a little later and before the big dinner rush, yet that didn’t stop them from being amicable and helpful. Aside from the wait it was a wonderful experience.
Unfortunately there is one draw back to all of this. With an idea so simple, and the food as good as it is there is still no justification for such an outlandish price. I ordered a large rectangular pizza and ten wings. Tat order came out close to $ 50.00. A price I would not pay again soon.
Will I go back to OIP? The answer is yes, but I will have to make sure to bring a lot of money with me.

Pretty decent food for the price. I arrived at lunchtime and was served quickly. The restauraunt was on tge dirty side, but the tables were clean. The pizza was average. Really good, crisp crust, flavorful sauce, but sparse greasy cheese, and toppings that were dried out. I’ll probably eat here again if I’m in the area, but it’s not the kind of place that would make me go out of my way.

So far our favorite pizza place in Watertown. Sauce has good flavor, good crust, and always cooked to perfection. The tomato pie is my favorite and the flavor will keep you coming back for more.

I am very Happy that found this place around the watertown area, the wings are Great and very tasty, one of the best I’ve tasted around this town.
The pizza is ok. The brick oven bakes tasty pies.
Giving what’s around the area, OIP is Great! But quality of food can always improve.

Okay pizza for the price. Wasn’t expecting to blow my mind but you get what you pay for. Lots of grease like always at most regular pizza joints.

Great Pizza and yes is very close to Italian. Always like to try local and it usually pays off.

Crappy! The one time we went there the pizza was small and hard. The bread was like a giant chip, which might explain why it took so long. It is way too expensive for the little rock we got. Go anywhere else for a better pizza.

By far some of the worst pizza I have ever had. For the price the pizza turned out to be much smaller than expected. As for the «fresh ingredients» they ripped up basil and slapped it on top. The woman working at the counter wasn’t friendly, it wouldn’t hurt to smile once in a while. The bread was hard and over cooked, which might explain the reason it took forever to get our food. I’d give it 0 stars if that was an option.

Good alternative then Cam’s My second best choice for pizza in area plus the workers are a lot nicer then Cam’s.

Yeah right, I stopped today it took over a half hour to get my wings. They had some kind of a weird breading on the wings and it was awful. Combine that with the latest health department violations, stay away!

Great Calzones. Stuffed with 2 cheeses and lots of meat. Way more Thani could eat by myself. Sauce has just the right bite. Excellent food at a great price.

I gave this place a 5 star because their pizza’s, calzones, & chicken wings were on point! I was hesistant at first because it only had 2 reviews. I definitely agree that it’s the best place. Now, it’s not the most lavish place. But that didn’t bother me.

Only edible pizza in the Fort Drum area, and locally owned. Will never go elsewhere, worth picking it up if they don’t deliver to your area. Fast, and easy to find location. Thin crust, Italian style pizza dinner properly. Shop local!!!

The food I would rate a 5 out of 5. They’re pizza is amazing, and I don’t even like pizza. They’re cheese is gooey and delicious, the crust is perfect and they’re wings are better than any I’ve had at Buffalo Wild Wings (or anywhere, for that matter.) Their service however, I would rate a 1, 2 on a good day. My husband and I went there for dinner, and after about 10 minutes or so of standing at the counter, the cook having made eye contact with us several times and acknowledging our presence, I still had to track someone down and ask them to take out order. Their location isn’t the best, is right next door to a 24 hour laundromat and doesn’t attract the best company. Basically great food, lousy customer service. Thank god they deliver!
