First thing to know: it’s moved and changed its name. It’s now located at 63 Public Square. Look hard because the sign isn’t very big and you may miss it. Second thing to know: the owners are super friendly and will guide you through the menu. It certainly beats the chained-restaurant experience. Food wise, this place is out of this world. Don’t expect a lot in terms of décor, because it’s bare bone, but the food is to die for. The secret is in the sauce — it’s made just right so that the heat is subtle and the saltiness has a hint of sweetness in it. Whatever your side order is, either scope the juices onto it or dip your side into the sauce. I got the pigs feet and goat curry with a side of rice and beans and collard greens for $ 13. Well worth it. The pigs feet still had a hint of meat on it and was good to gnaw on. Evident that it was cooked long enough that the skin just falls off the bone. The goat wasn’t strong at all, but only a slight musk of goat. Definitely try it as an alternative protein. One word of advice: make sure you clear your schedule before you eat here because it will put you in a food coma. I need about three Red Bulls right now. As always, make sure to tip.

This place made my day! You must get the curry goat, so tender! So flavorful! All without being overly salty or drowned in gloppy sauce like some places do. The jerk chicken is fabulous and spicy, balanced well over the steamed rice. At first, I was disappointed because they had sold out of rice and beans as a side option, but don’t worry– the plain white rice is far from plain, and it’s delicious! And the PLANTAINS! I’m confident that anything on the menu will dazzle you– and I will most certainly be back to try the oxtails. Thank you Eddy! He came in toward the end of our meal and introduced himself, thanking us for our patronage. The pleasure was all ours. They are opening a Caribbean grocery store next door which I’m excited to check out. Amazing food! Do yourself a favor, get a plate of curry goat with rice and plantains, grab a coconut juice and stay a while. You won’t regret it.

Nice lunch today at Eddy’s. The jerked chicken on rice and beans had just the right spiciness. The fried plantain was a nice sweet side dish, and topped it off with an authentic bottled caribbean ginger beer. There were many choices on the menu if you are already a fan of caribbean food. Eddy explained they also deliver. Great place to eat downtown for lunch.

My husband and I went today to their grand opening on Franklin street and we enjoyed a wonderful meal! We were able to try a few samples as well as have a wonderful meal. Everything we had from the chicken stew, shrimp curry, jerk chicken, jerk pork, plantains, rice and beans, and the cabbage was all fabulous! Can’t wait to go back, plus the service was extremely friendly!

I visit Eddy’s a lot. I am amazed at the flavors that pack such a beautiful punch. I had the new combo #2. I got the rice & peas, I thought the peas were something else, but was pleasantly surprised to have the sweetness to the rice, the vegetables, cabbage and carrots were delightfully in a pepper and cinnamon combination. The curry goat was tender and very juicy. The curry chicken was the star of the show. I had its juice over the rice, one word, slamming! Then to ease the very slight hint of heat you have the fried plantains. The cinnamon and sugar caramelized on the outside was crunchy and the plantain a warm soft cennter. I washed it all down with their Mira Saul Coconut Juice. It was soft and a refreshing end to a great meal!

Amazing find in a Watertown mall. This food could be served in a much more expensive restaurant. Real home cooked, delicious, Caribbean food.

So happy to find Carribean food in the area. I’m addicted to the ox tail with a side of plantains. My go to dish every time.

I was hoping to get some great Caribbean food accompanied with great customer service. I got one of Thier plates that came with veggies, rice, goat curry and plantains. My hubby on the other hand got oxtail curry instead of goat curry. we both ordered the big plates which was $ 12.99 a plate. So the oaxtail was really good but goat not so much. The veggies were extremely overlooked and tasted nasty. The rice was some cheapy rice that had no flavor. as for the plantains they didn’t give us any cause they had run out of them and when we requested they give us something else, the owner said no we can’t substitute. I mean the plate came with plantains and if they didn’t have anymore they should have added something else or even discounted the meal. But noo the charged us full price. Honestly I have eaten Caribbean food and this place is nowhere close to what we eat and the customer service was horrible. greeting someone is not enough. Especially for a small town. Anyway I am not going back there. sorry but they just lost a customer.
