In June/July 2013, eight of us were biking across NY along the Erie Canal. This was one of the places we camped. First off, they charges us over $ 100 for EIGHT of us to camp there. That is more than double of what we paid anywhere else(the lowest was $ 17.50 for all of us). The justification we were given for this price was that only two people could stay per camp site. Really? Two people per camp site? Ridiculous. The place is heavily Christian themed, including signs posted throughout the grounds. The mosquitoes were abundant, hungry, and fearless. Good things about the site: The people are nice(they smile at you while jacking you for all your money), the bathrooms have hot water(and mosquitoes), and there is a small convenience store with toothbrushes and the like. They take credit cards as well.
