Friendly old school barber where a haircut and a straight razor shave are still available. Good conversation that is not forced or trite. Will certainly be back!

I just moved to the cedar valley a few months ago, and I was really nervous about finding a new barber. I moved from the quad cities, and had established my go-​to barber. After a quick google search, I came across Zarifis.
I was extremely satisfied with my haircut. I came in with a mop-​top, and all I had to request was «take (2) months off».
If you live in the cedar valley and need a haircut, don’t go to a run-​of-​the-​mill clip joint (great clips, sport clips etc.) check these guys out. For about the same price point, you’ll be getting a haircut that will leave you smiling.

This is the best Barber Shop I’ve ever been to. When you walk in you are greeted by three barbers who have been practicing their trade for a long time and take pride in it. It has a classic hometown barber shop feel to it where you can have a decent conversation with your barber but none of it feels forced.
The haircuts are excellent and it’s the only place I know that will clean up your neck with hot lather and a straight edge. This place is the ONLY thing I miss about Waterloo.
