I wouldn’t really suggest going when it’s cold out! Being an outlet mall, you have to do a bit of walking around outside. There is however, small type mall area and a food court where you don’t have to be outside. Before I ever went, I heard that the deals were awesome and I really needed to go, but after arriving I noticed the deals are few and far between. It seems to me like normal Mall pricing. I don’t go enough to know if its really worth the 45 minute trip. After being here a couple times my opinion would be no. Although we did go right after Black Friday, my boyfriend got a lot of brand name sneakers for really cheap. I browsed around at the Puma store and found a couple cute items for cheap, but I felt like I was forcing myself to get something so I didn’t leave empty handed. All in all I think that if you live close to there its a good option but for someone who lives 45 minutes away you might think twice about it.

This place is pretty dead. It reminds me of this outlet mall between Los Angeles, CA and Las Vegas, NV. Barely any cars to fill the lots. The stores are okay, but there are not any great deals going on. There are better deals online that I could tell. The stores were spread out a bit and some I couldn’t even tell what store they were because I was not going to walk way over there and check. I hit the main stores and then left. There was a food court but only 3 – 4 fast food joints.

this place is the definition of a tourist trap. located off the highway with nothing else around except for an adult book store. i always thought that outlet stores were supposed to have great deals, but this place did not. if anything, some places even seemed MORE expensive than usual! some friends and i stopped here on the way back from Rochester because my one friend wanted an Adidas shirt. we drove around a bit and didn’t see the Adidas store, and we couldn’t find it on the directory. we went into a couple other stores and my friend asked a cashier if he knew where it was. they didn’t, but luckily a customer overheard us and pointed us in the right direction. apparently there used to be a big factory outlet store there but they downsized to a much smaller one. we went in and came right back out after 2 minutes of not finding anything. we also went in Lidz, which had some cool hats, even a 90’s style Seattle Mariners hat that i liked, but there’s no way in hell i’m going to pay $ 35 for a hat. we went into a sports collectibles store and again left within a few minutes of not finding anything too good(wtf? the NY Mets are doing great this year and it’s still hard to find their shirts in stores!!) i really don’t feel the need to go back here. you can probably find better deals in your local mall or on the internet.

This is a fun day trip to have a fun day shopping. You can find some really good deals here. I enjoy coming here alot. Food court has a nice selection. Parking is easy even if it’s super busy. There are a ton of stores here. It’s a blast coming here and look for the great deals!

Great outlet with a large variety of major stores such as Nike Coach Justice Toys R Us Columbia Puma J Crew Polo Calvin Klein and many more! Large area for parking. Bring comfy walking shoes cause you will be walking alot. For a free VIP coupon book sign up for free as a VIP member through their website and sign in and select on coupons for the outlet you are at. Show the customer service desk and get a free coupon book which is valued at $ 5. Bathrooms are located in the main food court area, near the Columbia store(tiny one stall bathrooms so if it’s an emergency don’t bother), and near Guess and Timberland. Place can get busy depending on the shopping season.

Shopping day with Mom! Typically in the summer I avoid the outlets as they are so congested with tour buses coming in. Going on a beautiful, sunny Thursday was ideal! Though a tour bus pulled in as we were headed to the food court! Always remember your AAA card because when you go to customer service(located in the food court) you get a VIP coupon book for many stores located at the outlets. There were tons of good sales going on and I was sad to see that Jones New York was going out of business. However, we were able to get many nice items at good prices while there. Van Hussen, Bass and Maidenform also had good sales and it was the perfect time for summer clearance and fall clothing coming out. It was a successful day for both my mother and I!

Visited there on the way back to Toronto. I was pleased that they had a Bass shoes outlet, as this company has a broad range in men’s shoes in wide. The Mall itself is an outdoor mall, with a very paltry food fair. There is a fair selection of stores, but not an outstanding one. I have to wonder with the strength of the U.S. $ when all is said and done if it is a really good deal. There are however stores that are not represented in Canada and there is a large choice of items. I would not drive this far to go there. I was just passing through.

I live in between waterloo and grove city and prefer Grove City for more selection and no sales tax. Waterloo only has a few stores I feel are must visits and overall I didn’t find a ton of good prices.

Outlets are decent some stores I found good deals but others were no different than going to their store in the mall. If you have been to one outlet area you have been to them all. All the same stores in everyone! Parking is good I had no trouble finding a spot. I will say the food court is weak. It has Subway, Burger King and Arby’s boooo. There is a grille in the outlets that looked like it could be good if you dont want to eat nasty fast food. I did find some good deals in Guess, Aldo, and Banana Republic but just like the mall it is hit or miss!

My husband and I stopped here during our Upper NY State road trip. I was not all that impressed by this outlet. However, I am an extreme bargain hunter, and I don’t even get out of bed for anything less than 60% off regular price. To give you an idea of that I consider a good deal, in the past, I’ve scored a Free People top for $ 2.50(Filene’s Basement — so sad they closed down), and a Tahari blazer for $ 18(Winners). The prices at Waterloo Premium Outlets are obviously less than retail, but nothing that excites me. Lots of Canadians have told me that the Outlets in the USA are so much better than the ones in Canada. I would have to disagree when it comes to this outlet. The prices here are not any better than at the Toronto Premium Outlets. And not any better than I can find in elsewhere in Canada. I saw a cute Ann Taylor blazer for $ 25 — which is an ok deal, but nothing to get excited over, in my opinion. They do have a Cosmetic Company Outlet, which is rare in Canada. I like CCO because you can buy those«Gift with Purchase» kits from Clinique, Estee Lauder, etc. that are free with purchases from department stores. They even had the discontinued Cinnabar perfume from Estee Lauder that I love. However, the prices were not that awesome. I spent a few hours here and walked away empty-handed. My husband bought a buttoned down short sleeved shirt from Banana Republic for $ 12. The outlet is a good size. It’s a big circle, so you can ensure that you haven’t missed any stores. There’s lots of free parking. I suppose that if I was driving through Waterloo again in the future I would stop by, but I would not plan a special trip to go here.

I am surprised I have not written a review of this mall yet. I pass by here often and if the timing is right I stop in. This is right off the NYS Thruway, between exits 41 and 42. Either exit will take you about 4 miles away from the mall. So its easy to get off at 41, do your shopping and get back on at 42. This mall has parking on the inside. I love this model. First, its somehow feels safer to me. Second you can see each store so you know where to park. Bad weather days, park close. Nice walking days, park on the other side of the lot. Regardless the huge parking lot is surrounded by stores on all sides. You can walk the whole thing, or do as many do and drive from one end to the other. Depends, I suppose on how crowded the mall is and how much you have to carry. Or anticipate having to carry. Another mall with every store you would expect. Gap Factory Store, Brooks Brothers, VF, Nike, Timberland, Old Navy etc. Ive never been here around Holiday times, I bet its busy. But early in the day on a weekday when passing by, this is a great easy stop. Clean restrooms. Food court looks OK, but ive never eaten in it, the choices just have not appealed to me.

Big shops. Found what I need. Drive around to get where you want. Not too crowded, not too many kids running around.

This outlet is pretty far off of the highway. It’s pretty small, but that’s probably why I enjoyed it more than some crazy place like Woodbury commons. Finding parking was a breeze and walking from store to store doesn’t really feel like you’re wandering around Disneyworld since everything is so close.

This is an outlet that’s on the smaller side – didn’t really see anything I liked, but I did get a suit jacket from Ann Taylor with an additional 50% off. Oh, and some BR pants and a top… only because I’m shopping for work! :P

Drove by here today and said to myself«I have to stop here»! Just dropped into Nike and the Puma store. Nike was so-so. Got a nice pair of shoes for my daughter. Puma was un impressive. A nice selection of enough to make a good dent in your wallet. Will have to head back for a 4 hour session!

Perfect way to stock up at the beginning of a season. Only a 40 min drive from Rochester. My top stores: Banana Republic — Wait for the 50% off sales. I usually buy the bulk of my items here. Right now they have a special where you can buy a tote and receive 10% off every time you come back this year. It’s already paid off! Nine West — usually BOGO. Very cute styles and a range of prices. Ann Taylor LOFT, GAP, and J. Crew are all fantastic spots as well. Usually plenty of parking but lots of walking. Bring a jacket if it’s cold. Also a bottle of water! I always seem to get very thirsty on these outings. Probably because it’s hard to be there for less than two hours.

I would say many of the stores here have clothes especially made by the brand to sell to poor suckers just looking for a low ticket price. Don’t believe me? Check out the Banana Republic factory store. That stuff is like poorly stitched toilet paper. Get a sweater from Van Heusen, Bass, Eddie Bauer, etc. and you can expect to wear it once and then it will get those annoying little sweaterfuzzballs on it. I would suggest you go to Eastview mall and just search the clearance section if you want a good deal. If you really enjoy outlets, I have had better luck in the Buffalo/Niagara Falls region.

whenever I am back home in NY i always am back there for an extended period of time and thank god because I get to go to the outlets more than once! Always good place to go, great stores, great prices :-) The food court is a little weak though and could use a few more options of places to eat rather than the ones they have…

I’ll admit it.- I’m a sucker for bargains. Not only am I the kind of person who likes to compare savings on items on sale– I’ll take it a step further and tally up all the regular prices for clothes and what I actually paid just for personal satisfaction. And let me tell you, my comparisons for Waterloo were OH so gratifying. I bought 11 items from Calvin Klein, Ann Taylor, Loft and Banana(2 skirts, 2 pants, 1 dress, 1 sweater, 2 oxfords, 3 tops) for $ 148.85– 23% of what it was regularly at the outlet($ 633.43)… I’m still riding on the discount euphoria. But. enough about ME. Let’s talk Waterloo(–resisting urge to sing ABBA – ): — 100+ stores — clothing, jewelry, shoes, books, perfume, suitcases, vitamins, candles, appliances, more clothing and shoes, chocolate, and the like –small food court with the regulars(burger king, subway, pizza, etc) –tons o’ parking Coming from Rochester it takes an hour to get to Waterloo, so it’s not worth it to come«just to look». come when you are ready to GETDOWN with some sales. I, for instance, needed to expand my work wardrobe. TIPS: — Go directly to the clearance section. Yeah, I know it’s the OUTLET mall and there are«sales» everywhere, but most aren’t really worth your time. The prices don’t get really sexy until you hit up that FINAL clearance section. — If there is a small defect to the clothing, tell the people when you are checking out and bargain… if you dont buy it they may have to send it back to the warehouse so you should be able to shave about 15−20% more off the price tag. — Have about 2 – 4 hours to spend walking around to see all the shops –If it’s cold outside, bundle the eff up.
