I ate here for brunch with my boyfriend. I ordered The Magee Special with sunny side up eggs, sausage patties, and pancakes. The eggs and sausage were good and the pancakes were massive. I couldn’t finish my meal. The one downside is that you get fake syrup. Being Canadian, I despise fake syrup but otherwise, the food was good and affordable(for $ 6.19 you get a lot of food). I also ordered a chocolate milk which was good. My boyfriend got a white milk and the Corned Beef Hash omelet and said it was really good. Overall, the brunch was tasty.

Not impressed. Hash was canned Mary Kitchen I am sure. Home fries tasted like cinnamon. Must be cooking them on grill with French toast. My eggs were cooked right. Steak was cooked well after asking for medium rare. Don’t think I will stop again.

I love this restaurant. We go quite frequently and enjoy the food every single time. Everything on the menu is delicious, the staff is friendly and very helpful. Magees is one of my favorite restaurants.

Uniquely ‘country’. Lots of regulars, could use another waitress when we arrived(off peak). Waited too long to place drink and food orders. Food was quick, happy to see that. Impressed with very fair prices and quality food. Will return.

Nice small diner. Conveniently located near the thruway and outlet mall. They have great food at low reasonable prices. Very friendly wait staff. The variety on the menu is nice. Serves breakfast lunch and dinner.

We planned lunch here just for the mac & cheese hamburger. Better burger this time. We love their mac & cheese. They make it with Yancey’s XXX Cheddar. I again added some of the mac & cheese to my burger. Fantastic. I wish they would grill some of the mac & cheese crisp and add it to the burger. Unfortunately Yancey’s XXX Cheddar is difficult to find in Syracuse and Yancey’s web page doesn’t have a complete recipe for their XXX mac & cheese. I’ve emailed Yancey’s but they have not responded.

We visited the other day for Breakfast, and my wife and I really loved the food. We shared a short stack of pancakes. And a western omlet(which was not to cheesy, like others I have had). And a side of Texas home fries,(I think that’s what they were called) which were awesome ! They have a little«kick«to them. The waitress ‘s were very friendly and accommodating.

Small diner about 3 miles from the outlets, stopped here before some shopping. Not feeling very wordy today so I’ll get straight to the point: I’m used to New Jersey diners, and these rinky dink diners in upstate NY have no comparison. I had the clam chowder soup and a turkey wrap, both were dry, bland, with little flavor. I drenched my wrap with blue cheese and it still tasted MEHHHH. It was disappointing, I was hoping for a better meal :/our waitress & the hostess we’re both very friendly. All in all– try something other than the wraps.

Magees Diner is a great breakfast stop. The food is delicious, the portions are large, the prices are low and the service is great. Definitely order the homemade cinnamon roll and ask for it grilled!

Based on breakfast, I would give the Magee Country Diner four stars. The food is outstanding and reasonable in price. My wife’s cinnamon bread French toast was excellent, along with the rest of her breakfast. I had the sausage gravy and biscuits with a side of crispy hash browns. The unusual feature of my meal was that the biscuit was submerged in the bowl of sausage gravy, not on the side to have the gravy spooned on it. But it was good, so no complaints. We decided to come back for an afternoon snack of the hog wings, the highly proclaimed small pork ribs. What a disappointment. The ribs were deep fried, which made for a good appearance, but not for good pork. The meat was too tough and should have been slow cooked to break down the connective tissue. The flavor was good, but the ribs were too tough to enjoy. That knocked the rating down to three stars. Stay away from the hog wings, and you will no doubt have a good meal.

Best place to stop for food just before the exit. You may see a line out the door but they move fast! Your wait will be 10 mins– tops. I love these pancakes and the eggs Benedict! Everyone is friendly and it’s clean & cozy & terrific service. I just got done eating breakfast and am so happily full. I also love the coffee:)

My wife and I stopped here today for lunch. We were promptly seated as soon as we arrived. The waitress was friendly, pleasant, polite, and FAST ! Our appetizer of onion rings arrived sizzling from the kitchen followed by two huge and delicious sandwiches. A+ to the wait staff, and kitchen staff. We’re coming back to try breakfast!

I like this place. The staff is extraordinarily friendly. The food is as advertised. Good prices. Good quantity. I have eaten here a few times. No one ever complains when they get their food. The soups are homemade — I think. Very thick I have to say. I had a spinach bisque. Very creamy. It came with a chicken salad sandwich that filled me up. Try it out. Its next to the truck stop on the Thruway Waterloo exit.

My favorite restaurant around. Love the food and the servers. Very fast. Sometimes there is a small wait, but well worth it. My favorite is the sausage gravy omelet. Yum

Great little diner! Well priced and free coffee for New York Chiropractic Students! Always seems to be busy because the food is delicious and they give you large portions! Great for stopping before continuing on to either Rochester or Syracuse ! Only tiny compliant was that we were seated at a tiny table by the bathroom and it had a cooling vent above so it made for interesting conversation about what we heard in the bathroom! But other than that I would recommend to anyone!

Local diner. But not very clean. And the food was a little over priced for my liking. You are able to see in the kitchen at some points … And if a kitchen looks like that, you shouldn’t see in it(if you know what I mean.) but hey I am always up for giving a business the benefit of the doubt. Having been in the restaurant business myself I know how hard it is … I wish this one all the best. The locals seem to like it …

The décor is super cute, lots of cows and very clean. Looks much smaller on the outside but when you get inside there is a ton of seating. Our waitress was super friendly and very helpful. I wanted a cinnamon bun and she recommended ordering it grilled as an appetizer for our breakfast. I went with her suggestion and wasn’t disappointed! I’ve never had a breakfast appetizer but I’ll definitely be ordering this again! My meal was eggs Benedict with home fries and while my hollandaise was broken it still tasted good. The home fries were tasty as well.

This place has pretty decent food at a good price. I got the eggs Benedict and when it arrived it it had way too much hollandaise sauce. I would say that based off my food alone I would give them three stars but I am giving them 4 stars because service was great. All my friends seemed to like they enjoyed their food and they checked on us a lot to make sure we were happy. Separate checks made everything super easy! I would come back but probably try something else.

Great location right off the highway. The food was fresh, portions were generous, and the prices were super cheap. If you are in the area or traveling and this is in the way, this is a great place to stop for a meal and to relax before continuing your voyage!

PIGWINGS. I say again PIGWINGS. That’s what you want to get when you’re here. They have a pretty big menu and some other good dishes(some just ok) but you go to a place and eat what’s popular and recommended. And this was what was recommended. I’d never heard of Pig Wings and quite honestly, I didn’t get the dish.(I don’t eat pork because of a slight allergic reaction to it but I’ll have it on occasion.) My mom did out of curiosity and I played it safe by getting their most popular burger(which don’t get me wrong is pretty good and I wiped the plate clean) but I ended up spending more time eating my mom’s order of Pig Wings. Perfectly deep fried and flavored. It was not greasy and the outside and inside was just perfectly cooked. I didn’t even really need the sauce even though it did give that extra layer of flavor. So good. And we came here by accident. We got lost on our way up to Toronto from Philadelphia and saw this lone diner with plenty of cars parked outside and decided to give it a shot. Get the Pig Wings. And not just the half or small portion, get the full bucket. You will not regret. Service was great and very friendly. The crowd there was a bit older but that shouldn’t matter when it comes to food. I was actually slightly paranoid that this place might be a bit racist being up in the middle of nowhere in upstate New York and we were the only non-white customers there. But I was wrong.(Sorry, I’ve had bad experiences based on my race.) Parking: Plenty outside Price: $ 8-$ 15 per person Wait: A few minutes to be seated
