Tower Cleaners 2

do not use Tower Cleaners in Waterford, Michigan. I do not own a sewing machine and took a pair of pants there to have minor repairs done. Several days later I get a phone call saying they cannot do the repair and I need to take them to a tailor. A week later I stop by the cleaners to pick up the pants, handing the clerk my receipt, and was told they were not there and I had already picked them up. I argued that I most certainly did not and I want my pants. I was told that she would check and call me. Yesterday I received a phone call that yes I had picked up my pants and she «distinctly» remembered I had. When I asked her whether she was calling me a liar she said yes. I am furious. The pants were not expensive — but that is not the point. So much for customer service and the customer is always right. Not even an «I am sorry» or «what can I do to make this right?» — just immediately jumped to I was lying. ARGGGGG!!!

Argh!!! I can’t believe it… I never thought that one could be that rude to a client! I used this business a couple of times in the past but fortunately for me I never gave them any white stuff. Until recently… I received my white shirts in a condition that was not even close to being clean. Stains all over the selves and the collars. And I did complain… Those people who know me well also know that this is always a small torture for me. I honestly could not comprehend the message that the lady was trying to convey… «We don’t have the time to do this… We just use Oxi Clean… It’s perfect… If this is your business, don’t come back!»
OK, I was standing there blinking and trying to figure out if something was lost in translation…
Well, I know one thing for sure — «I’m not coming back» just as the lady asked.
