Heart of the Lakes Vfw Post 1008

This is the 3^rd and final time i will rent the banquet hall from this VFW location. Within the last year i have payed this location for three hall rentals. First was February of 2014 for my wife’s baby shower. Second was March of 2014 for her best friends baby shower gift. 3^rd was February 2015 for my son’s first birthday party. This birthday party was great until the end when the janitor of all people came over and bitched at my wife about us having to move tables around. So i went over to the bar side of the facility to apologize and the smart ass janitor kept up the attitude and the manager on duty apparently did not care that the lowest ranking representative of the VFW hall 1008 was talking to the customers like we were a bachelor party that just trashed the place. Mind you there was no alcohol at any of my parties. We weren’t arguing and they’re was no drunk idiots to deal with. Very unappreciative of a repeat paying customer. I would bet that my wife and i have spent more money with them than any other customers this past year. After i tried apologizing and still caught grief from all the VFW representatives i told manager that this was the last time and still no attempt to solve an issue from manager. Good riddance is what they essentially told me. I hope you all read this and use caution before spending your money at this misrepresentation of a VFW hall.
