I have been utilizing Fluegge’s for the past Five years. I have had multiple frames and different style glasses. They have always done right by me and have always made sure I was happy with what I was taking home before letting me leave– wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I found the people to be knowledgeable, very friendly and helpful. Prices were quite fair. This is one of the best in the area. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because they don’t have that many high end frames. They did have Cartier. Due to their location, I would assume that their market is not high end fashion. If you are within driving distance, you should go to this place first. Second, actually because Costco is the most cost effective place. Costco charges only about half of what fluegg charges. Some Milwaukee are high end opticians are charging $ 650 for high index progressive lenses. Fluegg was about $ 400 and Costco is around $ 250. Unfortunately, Costco doesn’t have great frames but fluegg does have fairly good frames at Fair prices.

Fluegee Optical is OUTSTANDING!!! From my first phone call, to picking out my glasses, to wearing my new glasses this business is the best! Do not think twice about traveling to Waterford, WI. You will be so impressed with their customer service and selection of frames, prices, and expertise. This is a family owned business and they go above and beyond to help their customers. I had a smile on my face from the moment I arrived and was still smiling when I picked up my glasses 24 hours later. You will not be be disappointed. Dale and Rocky are very personable and more importantly knowledgeable and passionate about their profession. My fiancé has a tricky prescription and his Opthamalogist referred us to Flueggee. We were both 1000% happy with our experience in selecting glasses and the service at Fluegge Optical. We will recommend this company to everyone we know that wears glasses.

I’ve been buying glasses all over the Milwaukee Metro area for a long time. Not one can compare to Fluegge’s! The service, the knowledge, the expertise, the selection are by far better than anyone. Prices are extremely reasonable and it appears Fluegge’s with work within your budget. They have an outstanding selection and outstanding employees. Everyone is friendly and willing to work as long as it takes to get you a pair of glasses not only that look good on you, fit well, but you can also see! In the past, I had made purchases from other establishments and often had problems with the progressive lens I require. My 90 year old father who is receiving injections due to macular degeneration had a prescription filled the other day. They made the glasses immediately! However after listening to my fathers concerns, Dale Fluegge suggested«trifocals.» He removed the«bifocals» he had just made for him and went back to make«trifocals.» My father loves them and can see things he hasn’t been able to see in years! Again, these were made immediately. Truly, they can do things to glasses that no one else seems to be able to do. I haven’t met anyone in the optical industry that has suggested and can do what Fluegge’s does. They have worked on glasses that I haven’t been able to use because I couldn’t see with them. I had a pair of wrap around sunglasses that I wanted a progressive lens. I was told by 4 different optical centers they could not do that. FLUEGGE’S did it! They stand behind what they do and it seems most things are done on premises. Quality, perfection, honesty and immediate service are there strong points. And make sure you use the bathrooms!!!

After taking a difficult prescription for bifocals for a 2 year old(poor kid) to Walmart Vision Center three times to be corrected(they never did get them right), the vision center clerk recommended Fluegge’s. It’s a little off the beaten path, but I’ve had six pairs of glasses made for my son as his prescription changed rapidly year to year, and each time it was checked by the pediatric ophthalmologist, the lenses were perfect. While the lenses cost a bit more to start with than Walmart’s, once you start adding on extras like coatings and Transitions, it actually ended up cheaper to get the lenses at Fluegge’s too. Also, unlike Walmart, they do most of the stuff in house so you get the lenses in a day or two, not Walmart where you’re waiting for a week or more and there’s no guarantee when you’ll get the glasses. Also, when my son broke the frames a couple of times doing boy stuff like getting hit in the nose with a field hockey puck, they replace them, free of charge, no questions asked, done and done. Service is excellent, they have eccentric, ever-changing artwork for sale like a mini gallery, free Tootsie rolls for the kids, doo-wop music and designer sunglasses, it’s a hip place to get some shades… and its ladies room is worth the trip out to Waterford just for the mural. No, really.
