First time in last week. Had naked wings with recommended sauces. Loved it. Try all the sauces

Used to be my favorite weekend stop but things just keep going downhill! Things were quite good back when JR was the manager but when Frost Rd. expanded to a new Waterbury location(now closed) JR left to manage the new place. Bottom line — they just cannot seem to consistently cook their wings done enough, despite my specific request for extra crispy & well done. Perhaps I will give one of their other locations a shot…

I love this place for take out. The burgers and the WOP wings are my favorite. Since I have a spicy tooth, I always order my food with the hottest sauce available, which is plenty hot(I’ve gotten immune to the heat because I’ve eaten hotter). Also, they were cool with me having a WOP dipping sauce with the fries. I don’t order when it appears they have a lot of customers; that’s an indication that your order would take a while.

Best buffalo wings I’ve ever had. Service is great.

I love this place. The food is amazing and the staff are extremely friendly. We got boneless wings, wraps, burgers and everything was fantastic. The wings weren’t small either, they were gigantic! The prices are very fair. One of our new favorite places! Best part, they deliver!

There red white and blue wings here are AMAZING! Also love the buffalo wing mac and cheese. I ordered delivery once though and it took a long time so it wasn’t as good. But all in all i’d highly recommend wing it on. Wish i lived closer so I could stop here more often.

Average. Good: fast delivery, celery dipped in ranch was reallyyyy good Bad: had the boneless chicken mild and honey blue. A bit spicy and the sauce was everywhere. The chicken was veryyy dry. Gave me a stomachache. Definitely did not sit well with me.

I’ve made Wing It On a stop while running through the towns of CT for work and can safely say these are the best wings outside of Elmos(Getzville, NY). I’ve never deviated from the classic hot but they have plenty of flavors for the wing aficionado. Quick in and out your belly and wallet will be happy.

Ordered takeout from here again this week, still love the wings with barbecue sauce, but added a side of sweet potato fries and they were fantastic!!! I like wings once in a while, but these fries were soooo good, I will go back to Wing It On soon to have them again. Next time I will probably try something different on their menu. After reading the other reviews, I want to try their burger, which should go great with those sweet potato fries.

Good food, terrible prices. They should drop the prices or have specials. They got rid of the fried green beans which were awesome. This place was good at first but is going downhill

I am editing my first review. After several more visits, I give Wing It On an enthusiastic five stars. They focus on chicken, burgers, and fries, and they do them consistently well. The chicken is so good that I can’t make myself try the burgers. Definitely give the garlic Parmesan fries a try if you visit(try not to think about the calories). First visit: Wing it on truly does bring it on. The boneless chicken tenderloins were plump, tender, and perfectly cooked. The Red White & Blue sauce is the perfect blend of blue cheese and buffalo kick. The celery was green and crisp, perfect for dipping in what tastes like homemade blue cheese dressing. The fried jalapeño peppers were a nice addition. I anticipate visiting again and rating Wing it On as a 5… but they didn’t have fried pickles. Fried pickles were my reason for going out of my way to visit Wing it On. I’ll be back to try their wings and pickles.

I have been to wing it on at least 10 ten times and each trip is worst that the last. Their wait times, quality of food, and price and all less than desirable. If they tell you 15 minutes on the phone expect to wait at least 45. Don’t even consider delivery unless you enjoy cold chicken two hours after you order it. This place was decent when it first opened but now their sauces are all taste water downed. Not surprising the Watertown location is already closed. Don’t waste your money on their overpriced chicken.

We were stuck in traffic and needed something to eat. Unilocal had good reviews for this place so we gave it a shot. 8 mins off the highway and we were there. Staff was friendly, prices were reasonable, and food was great. Check this place out if you are in the area!

Keith is the best! Truly the reason that we keep coming back. The food is amazing but being in customer service myself, I always have a little extra appreciation for outstanding customer service. Keith takes care of us every time we come in. Mercedes is amazing too, knowledgable about the menu and friendly. We’ve tried the other locations since they are so much closer to us in Bristol but Wolcott AND New Britain locations CANNOT compete with the original here on Frost Rd. The food is consistent and they’re even continuing to expand the wing flavors so nothing gets played out and customers always have a variety. Menu goes way beyond just wings so you won’t be disappointed.

So originally I really liked this place, but I have since found better wings. I would say I’ve been here about 10 times. Today I went to Wing It On and got some Chipotle Ranch Wings and they were very underwhelming. They were just not favorable and the chicken did not taste very good. Another thing is the wait time they tell you is always off. If they say 10 minutes don’t bother leaving til 20 after. Every time it has taken longer than their phone estimate and I hate to wait around. This place either needs cheaper prices or higher quality chicken.

I do love their burgers; however, one time while going there I was sitting and waiting for my burgers(3 ordered for the family) for 50 minutes. No exaggeration. After about 30 minutes, a man came over and asked me if I was taken care of. I told him my order and 20 minutes later it was ready. It is almost as if the order was never placed. I have been to this location a total of 5 times and so far that was my only bad experience. Funny thing is, a coworker of mine shared the same story when she went. She did not wait as long because she voiced up after about 20 minutes, but what is going on there? The interior décor is mostly college banners from sports teams and they have a tv or two setup to watch while you wait for your order. The staff is very friendly and I learned my lesson to call in my order unless I plan on sitting there for a while. The parking lot is a disaster. Potholes everywhere. It is also very difficult to get in and out of. However, it is doable. Prices are average and reasonable considering the meat is cooked fresh. Never had their wings or anything else for that matter(maybe fries and onion rings once upon a time) so I cannot make any comments on the rest of their menu, but the burgers are so good that I had to give this place a high rating. Afterall, everyone makes mistakes and the man did come out to see what was going on, but it is strange that there were two customers who had the same problem and we are talking a about year between experiences. I will continue to go to this location and hope that 1 out of 5 becomes 1 out of 10, and so on. I recommend giving this place a shot, but if you feel that you have been forgotten make sure to voice up.

One time, my ex brought me something called the Beelzeburger(and a side of fried pickles). It’s a cheeseburger with jalapeños, Tabasco, chipotle ranch, buffalo sauce, pepper Jack cheese, and more. I remember tasting nothing but delicious meat and fire, and having stomach and intestinal pain for hours afterwards. So, as someone who learns from experience as well as the cast of «Seinfeld» did, I ate another one as soon as I could. My insides didn’t melt like last time, but it was still delicious. I only wish this place was closer, so I could go here more often and really temper my digestive tract. I have yet to try their signature wings, but that damned burger calls my name every time.

This place is excellent! The service is good, the wings are crispy on the outside, and juicy and tender on the inside, and the prices are reasonable. Plus the portion sizes are generous(especially on the boneless wings: they looked more like chicken tenders!). The Raging Garlic and Parmesan Garlic sauces are excellent. My boyfriend had the wings of prey and claims they weren’t that hot, but they smelled pretty fiery to me(he’s a heat freak so maybe he’s not the best judge). If you like wings definitely check out Wing It On.

This is for the new location in Watertown/Oakville … I’m DEFINITELY not a wing person, unless I make them myself. I like my wings cooked all the way inside and crispy skin, and I’ve never gotten that in ANY restaurant, until Wing It On opened down the block from my home. My husband loves wings, yesterday he saw it had finally opened. OMG I’ve never had wing that good and fresh in my life(except in my kitchen) but even the wing itself tasted fresh like they just killed the chicken in the back. We had the Asian Garlic and the Man-Gun and an order of Parmesan garlic fries(thx Unilocalers for suggesting those). The sauces were SO flavorful and it actually had the Asian feel to it and you could taste the mango in the other one its blew my mind. Now my all goes out to the heffa who came up with those parmesan garlic fries, I wanna kiss your feet. OHMYGOD I wanted to take a bath with that sauce. Thank you for that it was just AAAAAAHHHHH moment, till tomorrow fries ill see you again

I’ve been to this place a few times and generally have been pretty satisfied with the food here. The wings come in a wide variety of flavors, all of which have their own unique appeal to them. I usually go with the Red, White, and Blues. I’m not a fan of dipping my wings in blue cheese, but I do love the flavor. This flavor makes it easy to enjoy but the spicyness of the buffalo sauce, and the sweetness of the cheese. My only qualm has been that my latest visit, the wings were completely smothered in sauce to the point where it was almost unenjoyable. I ordered garlic parmesan, which I have before and have enjoyed, but this time the sauce was completely white and just poured onto the wings until they were completely drowned. The flavor was alright, but they were so overly cheesy that it became hard to enjoy them. Other than that, I would DEFINITELY go back again. One visit isn’t going to make or break my opinion on this place. Would recommend for any other wing connoisseurs.
