Sage Landscape Contractors & Tree Experts

I needed someone to mow my lawn when I broke my leg in April. I hired Sage Landscape Contractors & Tree Experts to do this while I was hospitalized. This company proceeded to rob me blind. They insist on mowing on a weekly basis rather than every other week like companies I dealt with in the past. They apparently operate their equipment so that the grass is still high enough so as to warrant weekly cuts. When I finally got home a month and a half later and saw their statements I was shocked at the amounts I was charged.
First, there were several weeks when they charged me double their weekly rate (whatever that is, the amounts varied from week to week, always much, much more than any other landscapers I had dealt with in the past). When I asked they said it was because the grass was so high they had to mow it twice!!! What? Cut it right the first time and there won’t need to be a second cut. Remember, they were cutting it weekly. Why was it so high that it needed to be cut twice the following week?
In addition to this, the condition of my lawn and yard was horrible. Weeds were growing out of control, and the grass was cut unevenly. It appeared they were cutting it from front to back in some sections, from side to side in others, and in circles in other areas
Finally, I told them their services were no longer needed. Several days later, there they were mowing my grass. I stopped them when I noticed. Their worker asked me why, and I told him their charges were too high. It appeared he had heard this before, and proceeded to offer the services independently of Sage, which I declined.
I don’t know about their other services, but if you need to have your lawn maintained you can certainly find many other cheaper and more ethical landscapers than Sage

WAY, WAY over priced… anyone else will do the job (TREE REMOVAL) for less than half. Just plain crooks. Pretty much ruined yard with trucks. No attempt to repair.
