Came in for a slushy and they delivered! Most of my freestanding or independent 7-elevens on my end of town are shutting down sadly so I have to get my slushy fix when I can. Thanks for delivering Watauga, stay classy.

So every once in a while I get a craving for a genuine Slurpee. Three or four neighborhoods ago, I used to live around the corner from a 7-Eleven. It was a bit of a ritual to walk over to the 7-Eleven and see if I got lucky with banana being one of the flavors. I’ve never really been a fan of Coke or cherry, so it was the rotational flavors that I always would go for. I don’t drink Slurpee that much any more, but when I get the craving and happen to be passing a 7-Eleven, I will stop in. On this visit, yes they had no banana, but the piña colada and red apple chill were a pretty good alternate choices. I guess I’m used to QuikTrip, but I found it odd that(this) 7-Eleven does not do self serve on the hot dogs. I’m not sure if this is good or bad, but it would be a pain if the place was busy. Even with me being the only person in the store, I thought it too much of a hassle, otherwise I probably would have popped for a hot dog too. This is smaller store and was very clean. The people working were also very friendly. All in all, a good experience, just no banana Slurpee today. Slurpee flavors here:
