My family and I were in Wasilla and wanted a place to have dinner since we live in Eagle River. We read the reviews and it sounded good. Most definitely not the best place to eat. Now the homemade root beer was pretty good, I have had better but still good. The pizza was under cooked and rubbery. It just needed a couple more minutes. The blue cheese salad was pretty good. Was the best item of the night. Then the chicken sandwich was okay. It was huge, but almost too big! The fries were cold, yuck! It was super cold too! They needed more heat. The staff was okay, there was only one server so she was all over the place. So you didn’t get the best service. It was Alaska priced so that didn’t surprise me but just not good enough quality for the price. Most likely won’t be back.

This is our favorite restaurant in the valley! Food consistently good, lovingly prepared(you can tell) and the service can’t be beat. Always greeted with hellos and smiles. The broccoli tempura appetizer it to die for! Our family fights over the last few pieces every time. Husband has had the halibut burrito and seafood etouffe and both were outstanding. Our little one ordered the chicken strips and they were, kid you not, the best chicken strips we’ve ever tried. The ranch dressing was amazing and their fries are hand cut, simply can’t be beat! The halibut and chips as well as the halibut tacos were equally amazing! Warning, it is difficult to pick out a favorite, so definitely order something different every time you visit, you won’t be disappointed! Ordered burgers to go last night and not only were they fast, but so delicious! Best burger in town! Homemade buns, lots of meat.

When I walked in to look at the menu, the server told that they had the best food around. The menu certainly offered a variety: seafood, pasta, salads, burgers, burritos, pizza. We were not disappointed. The food was fresh, unique, and very good. All the seating is in booths, which were very clean. The service was prompt and cheerful. Thanks for a great meal! If I could offer one suggestion, it would be to post the menu by the door to make it easier to see all the possibilities.

Crunchy salmon tacos are amazing! I opted for corn tortillas instead of flour. The sauce made the taco blended with the cabbage slaw and the fried fish that was not greasy or covered in a ton of batter. The wild berry salad was fresh and delicious. Kids had the pizza and said it was average. Overall great lunch and it was all very affordable. If I make it back to Alaska I’ll be back.

Nice little place that’s easy to pass by. The brisket and Mac was very good. Nice and tender brisket and solid but not overworked Mac. The accompanying cole slaw was a bit uneventful but otherwise a nice enjoyable meal. Great service and reasonable prices.

We stumbled across this place today while looking for a lunch spot and I am so glad we did! Right off, our waiter was so friendly and knew the menu inside and out! We grabbed the chicken nachos to start– great flavors, chipotle sour cream, and juicy chicken, can’t go wrong. We went with the Brisket N’ Mac at our waiter’s suggestion and it lived up to his hype. Rich and creamy mac n’ cheese, and tender, fall apart brisket, with a crisp slaw. Being the burger enthusiast that I am I went with the Talkeetna Bacon Burger. Two words: homemade bun! Warm, flakey, and toasted it held a good sized burger with thick cut bacon, cheddar, and thousand island dressing. Top to bottom a very memorable burger. Next time we roll through, this will be one of the first stops!

I remember when they used to have the Asian tacos and they were amazing. The sand dollars made us come back several times, but that was a few years ago and since then the menu has changed and so have the sand dollars. We’ve tried it a few more times but it wasn’t worth it to drive out that way any longer. Too bad too.

Like everyone else I was apprehensive of stopping here with its proximity to a gas station. Am I glad that we took a chance! It’s really more in a little strip mall and you forget the location once you are inside. We stopped on a rainy day on our way back to Anchorage from Denali. Our waiter was very pleasant and helpful, guiding our choices in food and beer. We had the étouffée, which was a spicy treat full of seafood and reindeer sausage, tacos with blackened halibut and a burger with sweet potato fries. All were yummy. For me the best thing I ordered was homemade apple blueberry pie. It was a huge piece with perfect flakey homemade crust, overflowing in fruit. I’m craving a piece right now!

Don’t let the location fool you. My husband picked this place from Unilocal reviews. I was upset that he’d picked a gas station restaurant until the food came — then I had to apologize. Delicious salad and turkey sandwich. Yummy.

Very good food. Interesting and diverse menu. I was surprised it is connected to a gas station but very worth eating at.

This place is a little hidden gem! Food is amazing and the service is really friendly. Glad we tried something new, seems like all the restaurants in the valley are blah. Not this joint! Lol. Delicious fire stoned pizza, sandwiches/fries with great flavor, and yummy deserts. Plus they have local beer on tap! Win!

Excellent food. Period. I live nearby, and I visit often enough that the staff knows me by name. The seafood is always good, the pizza is great. Burgers are good. Fantastic lunch or breakfast. The servers are on top of it. Try it when you are in the area.

We went to the Cadillac Café this weekend with 4 people, the food was ok, but nothing amazing. The wait staff was polite and attentive. For a restaurant coupled with a gas station, we were pleasantly surprised. We tried 2 appetizers, the Mongolian beef and a spicy shrimp one. For mains we had the gyro, philly cheese sandwich, signature burrito with fried chicken, and the Greek tacos. All items were ok, if a little underwhelming. The kicker was when the bill arrived, our lackluster lunch was $ 99 including tip! For that kind of money I can get a lot better! We definitely won’t be going back.

Having only eaten here for the first time 6 months ago, I can only review for the short period of time I have been going to this jewel. I have never been disappointed in anything I have ordered off the menu, and neither has my husband. My favourite menu items have to be the Sand Dollars and the Sesame Soy Sticky Wings(makes my mouth water every time I even think of them!!). Also their Halibut Tacos(blackened) are great. Only thing I would warn about would be the Roma Pizza appetizer, only because it is meant to be an appetizer for 5 or more people! Whenever my husband and I order it, it is always as a meal since it is 3 pizzas! Overall, great food and fair pricing.

The first time I saw Cadillac Café I didn’t really expect much. I was hoping that I would at least get an «ok» burger from such a small café located right next to a gas station. Honestly, I felt that was pretty optimistic especially with it being so far outside of central Wasilla. I figured it would be an experience I would try once and then be able to dismiss the place in order to try again somewhere else. That burger was a life changing experience. The burger was amazing and the first large burger I ever had that didn’t fall apart while I was eating it. It was a structurally sound burger. For a while I was going there fairly regularly to try all the other amazing things on the menu. Having a great time with the waitresses was also a plus. In time I began to wonder how such a great café ended up where they are at. I discovered that the current owner also owns Two Fat Guys catering and Burrito Heaven in Anchorage. and was an executive chef at Simons in Anchorage. This helps explain how they not only have great food but also occasionally run amazing specials that you wouldn’t expect from such a small café. Also… while it is not in central Wasilla it will be «the place to go» for anyone around it as well as central Wasilla and I’m sure they will even let people from Anchorage come to. I’ve had a great experience with the café and I can confidently recommend the experience. Be sure to get there early as seating is limited and you don’t want to miss out!

I have never been here before, didn’t even know it existed really, but it was a good first experience. It’s nice to know a place like this exists at one end of Wasilla and I will make a return trip if I’m in the area again. We came in after spending time at the Musk Ox Farm and ordered Super Nachos and a beer apiece. I would say the food was just okay, and hit the spot. I can appreciate a server who tries really hard. Our waitress tried really hard, she just didn’t make the most efficient use of her time, and there were only a couple tables in when we walked in. She gave us thanks-for-being-patient muffins which a was a nice touch.

My wife and I eat here sometimes after church. They have good burgers and burritos. Don’t know why there are so many bad reviews? We have never had problems with service. The place only has 7 tables so even if it was full the service wouldn’t be slow either. Food tasted good and its a place you can get in and out quickly if you need to.
