What I like about this place the most besides the cool clear water, is the atmosphere. There’s a good shallow area where the kids can play and can be supervised by their parents so they don’t go too far off. In the middle of the water-​hole it’s deep and has a nice current to float or paddle boat. On a hot day it’s nice to sunbathe and take a dip as well. The water is so clear that you can see your feet below at any part of the river, so it’s much safer to swim in than some of the other rivers and lakes in the area. With that said, this is definitely one of the best places that I would take out of town visitors who want to relax and enjoy the outdoors on a hot day.
