I know these people personally and know what level quality work they do and highly recommend this tree service. Elliot T is clearly mistaken with his review and shouldn’t condemn a business for one mistake. These people are highly professional, reliable, and do exceptional work. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

These guys are great. We had a huge old maple between our house and a new office — and it overhung both. They carefully tied off each branch and lowered it to the ground, stacked everything very neatly, cleaned everything up, and left us with a bunch of wood in perfect sections to split and use for firewood, and a pile of wood chips for landscaping. And they are a delight to work with — very cheerful and funny.
They were late in getting to us, but that was purely due to the fact that the day they were supposed to arrive, our area had a Pineapple Express — very high winds — and they were called out to do emergency work. Clearing roads is way more important than removing our maple tree, which could be done any time.
We will have them back next year to prune some fruit trees, and take down some trees that fell in our woods.

I was introduced to this company by my neighbor who said that they did a great job for them and were reasonably priced. I called them up to get a quote for a tree removal. They did not return my first call so after a few days I called a second time and finally got a call back. This should of been my first warning but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The owner of Columbia Climbers gave me the estimate which seemed reasonable so I told them to go ahead. He said that he thought he would be able to get to it by the end of the week (it was a Tuesday) but that worst case scenario he would have it gone it 2 weeks. This was agreeable to me since it wasn’t a hazard or safety issue. That was the last i saw of them, two months later I paid someone else to get the tree removed. You would think if the owner himself gives you the estimate that he would follow through but apparently not with Columbia Climbers. Terrible business, will make sure I let all my friends know how unprofessional and unreliable they are. pathetic.
