Was so excited to try this restaurant as I am a Chinese Food lover and new to the area. I was so disappointed I must say. I ordered crab puffs, they were squished together in a container. I wouldn’t have even minded that but the taste was horrible. I got sweet and sour chicken as well as fried rice, all were so tasteless. I have never had Chinese food that tasted like this, but it was not good. I have never not finished my Chinese food to include eating it for leftovers, I tossed this stuff away. Completely bummed!

I’m not sure what the other reviewers are looking at because it’s not a dive or a hole-in-the wall. It’s a homey family run restaurant that has been here for over 25 years. You want good Chinese food and plenty of it? Then dine here. We have often dined with another couple ordering 2 of the family dinners… and still had food to take home. Our favorite is the house lo-mein $ 8.99– with extra veggies and extra spice added(it will still be pretty mild). Or the Mandarin or «D» family style dinners. A new favorite is the Vegetable Egg foo young(no I’m not vegetarian but I just like this version better). Less than $ 7 for all that gravy covered veggie goodness!

Yummy Old School Basic American style Chinese food. We had a very enjoyable meal on a hot afternoon. This one is well worth your time and money. Crisp vegis, fresh meat, well presented.

This was a nice discovery on our road trip. We got tons of food for pretty inexpensive. The BBQ pork was the most tender I’ve had and the crab puffs were tasty. The food came fast, too. I would have liked more vegetable options in the family dinner combinations and I had to remind our server to bring our tea and water, but otherwise a very nice experience.

Even though it’s close and convenient for locals, I’d recommend the quick & easy drive to Vancouver for better Chinese. The prices are great! The service is prompt! Nevertheless the flavors are bland, the chow mein had no actual noodles just the crispy pieces. Crab puffs are delicious, but the veggies in the entrees tasted previously frozen. If I’m desperate, I’ll eat here, but my Chinese cravings aren’t usually satisfied. And I hate to say it but the place looks seedy, divey, junky, take your pick.

This is hands down the best place to get Chinese food. My boyfriend and I have been here 20+ times and have been satisfied every single time. Even now the food and service continues to exceed our expectations every time. You will have their delicious soup in front of you immediately after you order, the appetizers are perfect(especially the egg rolls and crab puffs) and all of their entrees are executed perfectly. For such a small place the food and experience could not be any better and this will continue to be our go-to Chinese restaurant. For an added bonus, their prices are exceptional. For about 20 dollars for two people, you can have more than enough leftovers for another night easily.

This was my favorite Chinese restaurant as a kid. I just came here for a visit after 10 years and I was pleasantly surprised to see this place was still in business and literally everything was the same as when I was younger. Best egg flower soup ever.

Love the family who runs this :) so friendly and the food is always perfect. The crab puffs and potstickers are yummy. The combinations are always huge portions and enough for lunch the next day. Thanks for your service!

Filthiest restaurant I’ve ever seen, we were the only patrons in the restaurant and couldn’t find one place to sit where there weren’t fortune cookie crumbs on the floor beneath the tables and the booth we sat in had even more crumbs stuffed in the cushions. We ordered the ‘D’ family dinner but we were not allowed to substitute soups. The egg flour soup was served with a side of saltines, far too salty and tasted more like chicken noodle soup loaded with corn starch. The dishes we were given were still dirty and appetizers were clearly recooked and not fresh. I can’t fathom any reason an egg roll would have 2 breading coatings other than because it was cooked twice. The BBQ pork looked very sad and was clearly overcooked from reheating. I’m not sure how anyone could rate this place with more than 2 stars, I suggest avoiding it at all costs, you money would be better spent somewhere else.

In one word DISGUSTING!!! After the server wiped her runny nose with a scummy napkin, and proceeded to grab our plate of appetizers and serve it to us with the same hand that still had the napkin in it, we were done. This place needs more than a little deep cleaning, and the staff needs to clean up their attitude along with their knowledge on how to keep a restaurant sanitary.

Fantastic Salt & Pepper Shrimp. Very lightly breaded, not greasy, very flavorful. Kids love the House lo-mein and orange chicken. Chicken egg foo young is the best around. Everything we’ve had has been very good.

Always a great meal and good value. Example: Orange chicken is 90% chicken with light batter. Haven’t found a thing on the menu i didn’t like. Thumbs up.

We haven’t been to Chinese Café in a while so we thought we would give it a try again. We were extremely disappointed! In addition to being flat out rude our service was beyond poor! We ordered 3 items to take out and when we got home we discovered 2 out of the 3 were wrong, and unfortunately none of it was very good. We definitely won’t be going back.

It’s a little hole in the wall, with good service and tasty food. Highly recommend meal«D» — the sesame chicken is delicious, and so is the house lo mein. Can get quite spicy for those who are spice weenies(like me!) but it’s worth it to power through!

This is my second choice for Chinese food in the area. My family prefers Chinese Garden in Camas, but if we are being lazy and don’t want to take the extra drive, we’ll occasionally stop here. We’ve tried ordering ala carte like we usually do, but have not been impressed with the taste or portion sizes(Chinese Garden has much bigger portions). However, they have a Sweet & Sour Chicken special for $ 5.25 that comes with rice and four crab puffs that we really like. Usually eat half of it and take the rest home for another meal. It’s another hole-in-the-wall that is in serious need of updating, but it seems clean. There is one server in particular that has been there on a couple of our visits that is very loud and argues with the other staff. I’m not sure what the problem is but I think all of the staff are part of the same family, at least that is the impression I get. Rest of the staff is friendly and service is very quick.

Very tasty Lo Mein Noodles. Even better with extra vegetables.
