The Presidents Pub & Grille

Outstanding place. Great beer selection. Good food. A much needed establishment in Washington, PA. I would go back many times.

First and last visit here. Not impressed at all. Very poor selection of domestic beers. There were 8 of us and only 4 meals were «ok». The waitress was very nice and tried hard, however the wait time for a beer — 20 minutes is unacceptable. Food arrival time almost 1 hour. The bills were messed up for two of us. Two people didn’t even eat their food, one took most home for her doggy. The manager did remove the items from our bill, so I commend her for that. They did an amazing job remolding this place however they need to work on the basics — service, hot food.

Great food! The poutine was delicious and the wings were great, hearty portions of both. Burger temp was just as asked, home made chips were cooked just right. Excellent selection of beer on tap and well curated cocktail list. Service was friendly and attentive. Patrick and Carrie kept everything on point. Great addition to the limited dining scene of Washington PA. Will definitely be back again.

First time eating at the Presidents pub. Very nice seating area and bar. Good selection of draft and Whiskey. The pastrami was good, the grilled cheese was great! Price was reasonable and easy public parking in the back. I would recommend adding some signage on the back entrance, nothing we saw said Presidents Pub at the rear entrance. This was confusing.

Wow! Never thought I’d find such a nice bar/​restaurant in the middle of Washington Pa. The owners have done a marvelous job of transforming an old neighborhood bar into a beautiful and inviting venue. The food is superb and there is a great line-​up of beers on draft. But, there is also an intriguing list of old style, hand made cocktails, which are made to perfection. I’ve tried at least four of them, all of which, were delicious. The good things don’t stop with the food and booze, I’m talking about the attentive service we’ve received during each of our visits. Everyone, from the bussers, right on up to the general manager, are extremely friendly, and most of all, they keep things flowing properly to make sure you have a great dining experience. I will definitely be visiting The Presidents Pub & Grille many more times. Do yourself a favor, and do the same!

Who would have thunk it… A great pub in Washington. Almost hate to give it 5 stars so as to keep it to ourselves… That would be a disservice. Atmosphere is fun, pub was noisy and crowded but that’s what you want on a Friday nite. Better half and I sat at bar and enjoyed excellent service. Beer selection was awesome. Food was great. Had the pub steak sandwich, awesome. Salads, awesome. Really can’t say enough. Looking forward to our next visit. And they have a great Sunday brunch, and live music.

This place is absolutely excellent. The hottest spot in Washington. Everything from the theme and ambience, to the delicious food and outstanding craft cocktail menu. The service was fun, attentive and inviting. Definitely a must try if your in Washington.

Great option if you appreciate a good beer list and interesting cocktails. Very nice interior upgrade and staff bent over backwards to make sure we enjoyed first visit. Will be back.

Rare find in a small town. Nearly everything is made in house and was delicious.
Cowboy Ruben — spicy house made jalapeño sauerkraut with a hint of sweetness on top of house smoked brisket piled high made this the best ruben I’ve had.
House made chips — thin, crispy, lattice cut. Delicious
Ranch dressing — tasted house made, incredible
House pastrami — very good
Pulled pork sandwich — tasty but nothing special
Some of the drinks are on the small side for the price, but they are high end liquors with house made flavorings and syrups and are definitely worth a try.
Polk 1845 — is a very lemony brandy based drink.
Cool Cal — is an herbaceous gin based drink with lavender and honey; a very unique and flavorful cocktail.
