Not bad at all. The room looks like it was recently renovated. The top looks a little small but clean and new. The hardwood or laminate floors in the bathroom very nice, the sink is a vessel sink pretty cool. The vessel sink is cool but its huge it takes up the whole vanity in the bathroom. The tables next to the bed are built into the wall pretty nifty. They have really cool looking lights over the bed for reading. I like the little hanging area for clothes and the hangers are real hangers not ones that that are attached that you have to take apart to put your clothes on it and hanging it back up. The fridge and microwave have their own little cubbies to that’s nice. I like the chairs because they’re not fabric they’re faux leather or vinyl. Course this makes them easier to clean and less disgusting, which means I’ll sit on them. For the price and location very nice. There’s free Wi-Fi and a 27 inch flat screen TV. Even better just noticed that there is a surge protector attached to the bedside table, awesome. The only other downside I can see is in the bathroom there’s only one towel rack to hang your towels on.

Gorgeous rooms, and while not a «five star» brand hotel, with Harolds knowledge and WONDERFUL additude it really gives it that five star feel. The tvs are new you can also order extra tv features for reasonable prices. The bathrooms are updated and nice. I usually avoid red roof because of the varying quality. Would definately go out of my way to stay here again.

I couldn’t decide whether to give this one or two stars and I can’t figure out how to do ½ stars so I went with one. It seems like the more honest response. The night before we stayed at a Red Roof Inn in Monroeville and had a good experience. However, this one. This is definetly not an updated room. The toilet kept running and when I went to jiggle the handle, it fell off in my hand. This morning, I felt something under my foot. It was a large piece of glass. How I missed it the night before, I have no idea. I took a pic of it and will be emailing it to their corporate office. Clearly they did not vaccuum as this certainly wasn’t a sliver. The ceiling was peeling. Two nights, two different Red Roof Inns and with that experience, it seems they are very ‘hit and miss’ in what you get.

They forgot something during the renovation. The air conditioning is not working on a day that reached about 90 degrees F. It has the new vessel sink and furniture, opting for a light look. It has a microwave oven, fridge, TV, and safe. Room 258 also has a king-sized bed. Not only is the air conditioning not working but I had to unplug lamps to use the computer, as there aren’t electrical outlets for the desk. The desk is on casters so I could move it to the outside corner of the room, which is probably hot. I suspect someone already had the desk over there since there is an outlet sitting by itself. Interestingly, they used carpet instead of laminate flooring. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. I stopped at this location because there was a Madonna of the Trail statue about 12 miles from here in Beallsville, Pennsylvania, along with another of the statues in Wheeling, WV. It was a good place. They also accepted my free night certificate. Even the front desk staff was cheery when I handed that to them. :-) Odd that the loyalty certificate amounted to -$ 19.62 on the final bill, and that the room was $ 18.00. Obviously, they charge us more than $ 18.00 for the room normally. I’m okay with the heat. I won’t melt, even if I might feel like it at some point. I could always stick my head in the fridge. The tiny bathroom is something to behold. While sitting on the toilet, I managed to bang my left elbow into the vanity and my right elbow into the wall. If the government has prison cells this small, the prisoners would complain. :-D The drink machine is in the other building but $ 2.00 for a 20 ounce soda was rather expensive. If you use this motel, be aware that there are more restaurants and a number of stores on U.S. 19/Murtland Avenue, which is east of here. I wouldn’t really suggest going to McDonald’s on Chestnut St.

It’s clean. It’s basic. It’s a place to sleep and shower. Bed and linens were well below average. Price was way too high. I’ve definitely experienced better, but I’ve also experienced way worse.

There wasn’t anything really wrong with this motel, but there wasn’t really anything great about it either. The room was old(but clean), but the main issue I had was that I could clearly hear highway traffic whizzing by all night. If you have to stay here, I’d say bring a pair of earplugs to be on the safe side.
