Really good pizza. Great wait staff. The whole family enjoyed it. And it was quick to get our pizza.

Great pizza, great atmosphere, awesome people! Food is a little on the expensive side and portions are smaller than expected but it’s good!

Tasty pizza and garlic cheese bread! Called and placed order for pickup… told would be ready in 15 minutes but when arrive 15 min later they had yet to begin order even though not busy. Staff was friendly and pizza = top notch so I will definitely give them another shot.

Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but this is my new go-to for a thin crust pizza! Loved the overall look and feel of the restaurant, our server(Jake) was so friendly and very welcoming, and the cheesy bread and meat pizza we ordered was delicious. Pumpkin spice cannoli was also very good — we’ll be back to try that Nutella pizza we were hearing rave reviews about from the next table over!

That’s one great authentic pizza place!!! My husband is not a fan of wood fired pizzas but this place he absolutely loved!!! We loved the pizza so much we ordered a separate one to go!!! Their garlic cheese bread was good too but it was like a cheese pizza while we expected something like bread cut out from a loaf topped with garlic n cheese. They have a great choice of desserts too!!! After the food I think their service n staff deserves a special mention!!! Absolutely wonderful teamwork there and everyone was sooo attentive and on their toes. You don’t get to see that a lot! We are definitely gonna be regulars here

This place is the top place for pizza in Macomb County. I had the Saltimboca which is beyond description other than it needs to be the first thing you try. The cheesy garlic bread is amazing mainly because of the fresh shaved garlic.

This place was rock solid since it opened. However, a recent experience has made me second guess it’s direction. Their large pizza is now 12″ if you’re lucky. My Cesar salad didn’t come with dressing and looked like it was week old Lettuce. $ 24 for a 12″ pizza and a small Cesar salad with no dressing? Really? Every other experience has been great but apparently they changed their pizza sizes to shrink them down a few months ago. Hopefully they can get this place back to where it was before. 3 stars with optimism that they get back to the 5 star place this was before…

Excellent place! Everything we ordered was fantastic. Small little place but great pizza. 5 stars if it had Coke products

The pizza is the best in the area and the salads are great too. It’s a little expensive for pizza and salad, but it’s worth it. The ambiance isn’t great, but it’s not enough of a reason to not go. Service is friendly. I’ll be back.

I love quaint little local places, and this place is no exception. Phenomenal oven baked pizza, the ingredients taste fresh, the pie is cooked to perfection so the texture is there. Even the garlic cheese bread tastes special. Came here at about 12:30pm only one other table full, overall a great relaxing experience!

I really enjoy the pizza here. Stay away from creating your own it’s way too costly. Wish the size of the pizza was bigger. If you can get over the sizing and the pricing you will enjoy a really good pizza. One of the better brick oven pizza joints around.

The pizza here is authentic Italian style, and it’s fabulous! You can tell by tasting it that all of the ingredients are fresh and that they don’t cheap out when it comes to things like cheese and dough. The salads are crisp and fresh, and they don’t skimp you on the toppings, which Is great because that’s the best part! The atmosphere was nice, and the waitstaff was even nicer. One of the cooks even came up to our table and asked how our food was, and the servers were accommodating and super friendly. Definitely a nice family feel, you can tell the employees are treated well which is important to me. We had a cannoli for desert which I wasn’t super impressed with, but it could’ve just been a different type than what im used to. All in all I give them five stars for service, atmosphere, and a great dinner.

Some times the first impression isn’t the correct impression. This is one of those cases. The first time I visited Pizza Nostalgia which was the first week of their opening. At that time the food was ok but not as good as it was tonight very satisfying. The 14 inch large thin crust hand tossed round the Dootz Melone. This style of traditional Italy pizza is best cooked in high heat wood fired oven. And that just how they do it. The quality of the pizza dough is some of the best any where from the bottom to the top ingredients, are top notch from the true pepperoni on the ham and cheese topping. Worth the wait. Good stuff. I would highly recommend the Michigan salad. As for the beverages you will get by with beers and soft drinks. But not to worry the food makes up for all of that Service was off a bit but the crew as hard at it doing the best they could. Enjoy

Delicious. Nutella Pizza.(Do I Need to say more?) Quality Ingredients, Fresh Menu — this is not your regular pizza place. Pizza, done like it should be. Our group of 8 spanned from age 1 to 61 and we all voted this the best pizza ever! We all tried something different(7 personal pizzas plus two dessert pizzas) and also used the Unilocal coupon for a free cannoli.(Found out we are not cannoli fans? Oh well). For dessert: Get the Nutella Pizza. Seriously. This is a must. We saw salads that came out to other tables and wish we would have ordered those too. The place was packed — make a reservation and come close to 5, before the takeout starts. We saw on man carry out a 20 pizza order on a Friday night at 6pm! We only wished we had put in a to go order, we all wanted more later than night. And the next morning.

This review is more of an inditement on the service and value vs. the food quality and taste. Here is the sich… I decided to try a new pizza place out and saw pizza nostalgia on Unilocal. They had a free cannoli with lunch, a decent amount of reviews and a good overall rating so I said, why not. I ordered a plain pepperoni and cheese«large» to start, I’m under the mentality that if you can’t make a good pepperoni and cheese than I have no business ever going back. Well, they made a pretty good pepperoni pizza, but this is the smallest«large» I have ever had in my life and not enough to share with the 2 people waiting at my house, cannoli was good. pizza taste 4 stars, size 2 stars = expensive and had to order another pizza from Jets since this was so small. Now for the service or lack there of… There is a young blond haired girl that works here that has very little customer service skills, just going through the motions, no smile, no personality. Also, the employees were not familiar with the free cannoli promo on Unilocal, very inconvenient and annoying. She called a young man from the kitchen to review the voucher and he confirmed that it was a real and valid promo. Minor issues I guess, but this process took about 5 minutes… The young man went in back to get the cannoli, I waited another 10 minutes, keep in mind the restaurant was EMPTY and my pizza was getting cold. No real sense of urgency and no apology for the inconvenience. If the owners read this please realize that people are sometimes going to your establishment based on reviews, a lot of these customers are visiting for the first time. For me, unfortunately first and last time.

Would like to save that this rating is not based on the food nearly as much as the experience. We ordered a medium pizza and some garlic bread. The pizza was delicius and all the toppings tasted top notch. The garlic bread is out of this world, that woodfired taste is amazing and the chunjs of garlic were a perfect compliment. That being said we placed a takeout order and were told 30 minutes. I showed up around the 35 min mark, paid and was told it would be «a few more minutes.» It took 20 more minutes before i noticed our pizza being assembled. Total it took 70 minutes to get our pizza. The hostess did apologize but I’m sorry more than double the quoted time is just unacceptable and will prevent us from returning.

Wow. seriously good pizza. The outside doesn’t do the interior justice. We stopped here on a road trip on a cold November evening. Outside it looked kinda like any dive bar and I was a bit worried. Inside however it was warm inviting and the servers were all very nice albeit a bit slow(more on that later). Here is the good: 1. Wood fired oven at a bazillion degrees that makes the pizza crust crunchy and chewy and tastes kind of like the unsweetened toasted marshmallow in a weird way. 2. You can customize your pizza and make it as gourmet or as simple as you would like. 3. The servers are kind and genuine, my son is allergic to dairy and our server made sure that everything he ate was dairy free. She took the time to ensure he had a great dinner. The only thing that takes away the perfect rating was actually the servers. One server accidentally put cheese on my son’s pizza, thankfully our other server caught the error and didn’t send it out. Otherwise my son would have been horribly ill. But this meant that they brought out my pizza and about 10 minutes later my sons pizza was remade and on the table. Not a big deal but the same inattention was evident on dessert. They brought out my cannoli then 10 minutes later brought out my son’s smores pie. They weren’t that busy when this happened, i can imagine that it could become an issue when the place is packed. Overall VERY good food and above average service. We will be back next time we are in MI.

Found this place because of Unilocal. We tried the garlic cheese bread and a couple different pizzas. The garlic cheese bread was very good, as were the pizzas. Overall, I think this place is a very solid option if you’re in the area. Unfortunately, I live quite far from Washington Twp. It was good pizza, but not«Drive an Hour and a Half» good(not that any place is that good). That being said, if I’m in the area again, I’ll make a point to stop by and try out some new menu items. The place was very clean, the staff was friendly, the service was good. I don’t know how busy this place gets at night, but you might want to make a reservation because I could foresee it filling up fairly quickly. We were in here during the middle of the day on Saturday and had no trouble getting a seat though.

Pricey, but worth it. Small(4 piece) pizzas are about $ 6 – 9 each, but they are unique and delicious. Loved the fresh basil on mine! The garlic cheese bread was some of the best I’ve had, must be that wood fired cooking. The only complaint I have is that the crust on the pizza was burnt in spots from the oven, but it didn’t ruin it. They now have a small selection of beer/wine, it seemed all the wines offered were $ 6 glass. I also took advantage of the 10% Unilocal check in discount, so my tab for one large garlic cheese bread, one small pizza, one medium pizza, two sodas and two glasses of wine was $ 45. Actually not that pricey :) We’ll be back.
