Eisenhower Executive Office Building

Alright you can probably get a review of someone taking pictures of the building, but what about a review of the inside? What about the cafeteria food? Where you gonna see that review? Right here baby. Check yo self before you wreck yo self.
So first question anyone is going to ask is: how the hell do you get in there? Well basically you need to know someone who works in the federal government, preferably in the Executive branch. I leave it to you to do this part.
You’ll need to go through security as usual.
Once inside what can you do? Well there is a cafeteria there. They have the typical assortment of sandwiches, salads, burgers, etc. I ordered the Smoked Jack sandwich on whole wheat. It had bacon, avocado, cheese, and a bunch of other crap. Actually it was pretty tasty for cafeteria food. No complaints.
What else can you do in this buckwild giant ass office building near the White House? Go bowling son!
That’s right, the White House bowling alley is located in the basement of this beast. You’ll walk down a hall full of hanging exposed pipes. It’s real power plant stuff down there. And then boom! You’re in the Harry Truman bowling alley, baby.
I hope you know how to score this mad game because it doesn’t have those automatic machines. It’s got two lanes and the absolutely swankiest bowling shoes you have ever seen. They are no joke. I want a pair just to wear out, they are that baller.
After you’re done, you can leave the compound by using the entrance that faces Lafayette Park. If there are tourists there they will be amazed at you leaving the White House! You may feel superior at this time.

Nach Angaben des National Register of Historic Places wurde das Gebäude — ursprünglich das State, War, and Navy Building, weil es hier das Außenministerium, Kriegsministerium, und Marineministerium — zwischen 1871 und 1888 im französischen Second-​Empire-​Stil errichtet. Es wurde von Alfred B. Mullet konstruiert.
Viele berühmte Persönlichkeiten der Vereinigten Staaten haben an historischen Ereignissen in den Granit-​Gemäuern des Old Executive Office Building teilgenommen. Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin D. Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Lyndon B. Johnson, Gerald Ford, und George H. W. Bush hatten alle Büros in diesem Gebäude, bevor sie Präsident wurden. Es beherbergte 16 Marineminister. 21 Kriegsminister und 24 Außenminister. Winston Churchill ging einst durch die Flure und japanische Abgesandte trafen sich hier nach dem Angriff auf Pearl Harbor mit Außenminister Cordell Hull. Präsident Herbert Hoover nutzte die Räume des Marineministeriums nach einen Brand im Oval Office am Heiligabend 1929 für einige Monate. Dwight D. Eisenhower hielt die erste TV-​Pressekonferenz im Indian Treaty Room im Januar 1955. Richard Nixon hatte hier während seiner Präsidentschaft ein privates Büro. Vizepräsident Lyndon B. Johnson war der erste in einer Reihe von Vizepräsidenten, die bis zum heutigen Tag Büros in dem Gebäude haben.
