Everything I ordered was wrong and they refused any sort of refund. Wouldn’t go back even if it was free, it would still be wrong.

After being treated rudely at another local salon, we had higher hopes for Allison’s bridal. When we got there there was not a sole in the entire place– upstairs or down… And I was told I couldn’t look at anything??? The girl was nice enough about it, but this just seemed like really really bad business practice to me. I was not going to take another weekend to come back down to look at a place who would not let me see what they had… With crickets chirping in the background… Still got my dress in a pittsburgh store — ironically the first store that would actually let me look at what they had to offer!!! Can you imagine if a car dealership had the same philosophy!!! Try harder please Allison’s! But seriously go elsewhere where they operate during their listed hours. Btw I’m a very easy bride, and bought a dress within 45 min at another locationo. :-P

I visited Alison’s with my mom to find a mother of the bride dress, and was very disappointed with the service we received. Granted, it was a busy Saturday, but the store was massively understaffed. The impression we got from the moment we walked in the door was that they were too busy to deal with us and didn’t care about our business. The first employee we encountered barely greeted us and assumed I was there for a prom dress(I’m 28 years old.) She took us back to a room jammed full of women and dresses, and vaguely pointed at a few racks of MOB dresses, insisting that my mom look at the size 12 and 14 dresses that were conveniently located instead of the size 10(that would actually fit her) because they were tucked into an out of the way corner. The racks were so full of dresses you couldn’t even look at them. On the way out, we tried to see if they had or could order a dress she had seen online and liked, but were again treated indifferent;y, and told to call back during the week. Sorelle, a little down the road, was just as busy, but were professional and adequately staffed. Maybe on a weekday, the experience at Alison’s would be better, but based on the way we were treated, I can’t recommend it.
