William Kimbrough, MD

Dr. Kimbrough is the best. Plain and simply. He answers EVERY question you have, and you will never feel rushed. He is patient, knowledgeable, and just an overall good guy who is super easy to talk to.
If anything requires a specialist, he only recommends the best and then on top of that, he communicates with that doctor to stay up to date on your stuff.
I’ve seen soooo many doctors in my life. Sometimes I meet them and tell them about my preexisting stuff and they look at me like I just made it up. Dr. Kimbrough knew what every single one of my weird issues was and I can’t tell you how comforting that was. So if he can handle me and my stuff, you’re good.
I’ve gushed about One Medical, and those reviews are basically about him anyway, so you should check those reviews out too. This is an easy choice. If you live in the DC area, you go to One Medical.

I have now been a patient for about a year and a half, and I couldn’t be happier with the level of care, the personal interaction, and the trust I have with Will. When my wife and I moved back to DC about 6 years ago, I had trouble finding the right fit medically. Now I am really happy with the care — and the fact that Will found a serious medical issue which was unknown to me. His expertise included finding a great specialist when needed. He is also supported by a great team — from the receptionists, nurses, technicians, and PA’s. This «business model» for a medical practice really works.

Dr. Kimbrough is an excellent doctor. He is thorough, doesn’t jump to conclusions without careful evaluation, doesn’t routinely order wasteful tests, and is extremely responsive. He responds quickly to questions and unlike other doctors he doesn’t charge you for a 5 minute phone call or an email. Yes, you pay $ 199 a year for this level of service but I think for the cost of two dinners out your health is more than worth it. I would recommend him to anyone looking to modernize their doctor relationship with a doctor/​practice that gets it.

Dr. Kimbrough and his awesome practice (One Medical Group) are like concierge service for your health. Super-​long appointments to cover whatever you need to cover. Thorough, friendly, and knowledgeable, I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. I hadn’t seen a doctor in three or more years, so I had a lot of questions. Dr. Kimbrough was extremely patient in dealing with any issue or concern I threw at him.
One Medical Group is membership-​based primary care. It costs $ 199/​year, but is worth every cent (and then some). It’s kind of like a medical «start-​up» done right. Online scheduling, really long appointments, nice offices. Check ‘em out.
