Sadiqua goes above and beyond to create a tailored experience for her clients. I scheduled a birthday massage for my partner based on a recommendation from a friend. Sadiqua responded immediately to my reservation request and worked with me to create the perfect healing and grounding experience for them. If I had known that finding a massage therapist who makes house-​calls would have been that easy, I would have scheduled one a long time ago.
My partner and I are now repeat customers and each feel like we get a different experience that suits our different needs. I work a really physical job and have been managing anxiety and depression for a while. I would highly recommend What You Knead to anyone seeking both relaxation and emotional/​mental heath support.

I had the pleasure of experiencing a full-​body massage from Sadiqua.
I rely on bodywork to release emotional storages in my body. It’s more than a relaxation sanctuary for me (although that’s important to have, and a place that I appreciate) – it’s a site for deep healing of the unprocessed, unresolved, and unmet. I trust few massage therapists to support me in this way, and occasionally, I find people like Sadiqua, with whom I can fully relax, and surrender, in her care.
I think that Sadiqua’s massage therapy works so well for me because her presence and practice merges three aspects: hands that are so naturally poised for bodywork that you can, by extension, feel her joy and warmth as she works, anatomical knowledge that helps her so easily laser in on misalignment or tension, and therefore, informs her helpful post-​session advice, and an emotional intelligence that allows her to have a conversation with your body’s physicality, as well as its emotional, and energetic sides, which for me, complete the picture of where I am and what I need in the future. Her hands, knowledge, and insight combines for a deeply-​restorative experience, on many levels.
I’m looking forward to more massage therapy with Sadiqua. I’m excited to combine therapeutic oils, sound therapy, and other elements that I’ve wanted to incorporate into a holistic bodywork routine, but haven’t found a practitioner with the level of experience or skill. If you’re looking for healing massage therapy, with a wholehearted and strong spirit, I couldn’t recommend What You Knead any more enthusiastically.

This was the best massage I’ve had. I’ve had chronic back pain (lower and mid) for the past three years and I could barely walk when I booked my massage. I’d been to the chiropractor, which helped a little but it wasn’t until the massage that I really started to improve. Iman came to my house, set up and as soon as she got started, it seemed like she knew exactly where my pain was. I informed her that I enjoy a deep, strong massage and she gave me just that. After this experience, I’ve seen her twice more and each time has been just as great as the last. I’ll admit, the price was steep for my budget-​but it was truly worth it.

Iman is the GEM this highly stressed, fast paced geographical area we call the DMV absolutely needs!
Her grounding presence itself starts your relaxation and healing experience well before your session.
On her table, her highly skilled and strong, yet gentle, fingers, hands, forearms and her small, yet powerful, body itself move in amazing flow and coordination pulling your mind into the present, your energy into alignment, and your body into wet noodles.
That is, if you allow her work to do with your body what it will. Her intuitive and traditional knowledge of the physical and energetic body are beautifully expressed in her work.
Just writing it down is a strangely relaxing experience! :)
So, as a steadfast client of hers and as a seasoned therapist in the massage therapy and physical therapy fields myself, I highly vouch for this wonderful massage therapist/​healer/​body worker.
