I disagree with the other reviewer. The classrooms are dirty and badly lighted and the classes are quite expensive. There are many open session available for much less in Washington. Stay away.

What makes WSS special is the quality of teaching at the school. The teachers are working artists, who take their work and students seriously. The classes are small and the atmosphere is welcoming and nonjudgmental. During my time at WSS, my work has much improved and I have become part of a vibrant community of artists of all ages and skill levels. WSS offers day and evening classes, weekdays and weekends, check out their schedule, you won’t be sorry!
