These guys are so friendly and helpful. Christmas trees are really great quality and well priced, got a great 8 foot tree for $ 80. They also have loads of wreaths and garland and let us take lots of cut offs.

Great selection of plants, and at super low prices. You’ll find colorful flowers to tomato plants to herbs(though the basil was already flowering…).The soil selection is a bit sparse and pricey, however. My helix ivy plant is still doing very well after about a week, and it only cost $ 2(I believe a promotion was going on when I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon). Definitely a place to check out if you have(or hope to have) a green thumb!

Yes, the store’s lot is a little hard to get in/out of. I’ll also admit the staff is prone to smoking cigarettes, & playing the music a little too loud, BUT if you can overlook those incidental details, and focus on what you came for, probably pretty flowers at a good price, you’ll be happy you came! The staff may first appear slightly underwhelming, but they are in fact very helpful, and quite knowledgeable. I know I was personally thankful for their assistance! The prices are great too! Three wonderful, tall azaleas for $ 20 and herbs that were much fuller than those at Home Depot were three for $ 10. The herb and veggie supplies were limited, and some of the plants are still coming in due to a longer winter, but otherwise, I had absolutely no complaints. I would have given it a five star rating had the supply on non-flowers(grasses, herbs, veggies) been a bit stronger. I like supporting small, local businesses, so this is definitely one I’ll visit again.

I just left this shop and loved it. Everything is so much cheaper than Home Depot. The shop carries many traditional house plants but it didn’t appear to me to have a really wide selection of specialty items — to be fair I was not looking for it. The salesman was very very helpful with the care options — he even made recommendations about how to care for plants they didn’t even carry. I cannot image going anywhere else for my plant needs.

Oh, Teresa’s. I should know better by now. My boyfriend and I have been a few times in the spring when searching for vegetable plants for our garden and never come away satisfied. Their flowers are beautiful! They’ve got row after row of pansies, petunias, impatiens, and hydrangea, but their vegetables and herbs are almost an afterthought. They have a better selection of tomatoes than Home Depot, but the ones on display were dry and yellowing, and they didn’t have any herbs besides mint and some cilantro they had already let go to seed. If we were looking for flowers, this would be the place to go — the prices are reasonable, and the quality was good, but for veggies and herbs, go somewhere else.

great selection of indoor and outdoor plants. i found a birds of paradise palm here after searching at various other places. and the staff was very helpful — wrapped the plant and placed it in my car. this place is right on new york ave and easy to pass if you aren’t expecting the driveway entrance. a gem in the city.
