Really liked having an option other than coffee. Teaism fits perfectly in to Union Market. Each stand has it’s own niche and they compliment each other nicely.

I was in Union market today and couldn’t decide what I wanted for lunch. So I decided finally on having a sandwich here. They have their Korean brisket sandwich on display and it looked pretty good. Considering prices in the market you get a good value for your money. And the sandwich was really tasty too.

Korean pot roast sandwich at a tea stand?! Believe it, for $ 9 I enjoyed a perfectly toasted & crispy roll wrapped around long slow cooked beef with diced cabbage, crunchies and sauce on top, what a great lunch! Ask if you don’t see the sandwich sign, they seem to make them daily at lunch. Oh yeah also a fine iced black tea :) This Teaism«pop-up» in Union Market has been open about a year now. Hopefully they’ll convert to a permanent stand soon.

It’s not secret that Union Market has become a second office to me ever since I started working from home two years ago. I’m not too much of a coffee drinker so I was ecastic when a Teaism pop-up showed up a few months ago. At this counter, I’m ALL about the almond milk bubble tea which is subtle in flavor and not too sweet. One order lasts me an entire work session so your money goes a long way here. The only complaint that I have about this is that the tapioca balls are a bit stickier than what I am used to and it seems like they run out of ingredients to make this dish a lot. Otherwise go buck wild! Hopefully they will offer more flavors soon.
