checked this place out today for lunch. I was looking for someplace on the fast side and they didn’t disappoint. The cashier ripped through the line in a very efficient manner, I will mirror what another reviewer said about not having the time to think about sides. Honestly though it’s a sub shop, I should have decided if I wanted chips by the time I made up my mind about the sandwich. I didn’t realize they had specialty sodas in the fountain instead of brand name, I may have tried one of those if I knew before I ordered. The way the menu is setup is also odd, seasonal items are separated from their respective groups. So if you’re interested in pork you need to look at both sides of the menu for the«normal» and«seasonal» offerings. I ordered the Girard which is: Citrus Braised Pork, Sautéed Onions & Peppers, Sharp Provolone. There was not enough Provolone for my tastes and I found the pork to be slightly salty, but not in a bad way. The Onions and Peppers were awesome and cooked perfectly. I’d try this place again in a heartbeat, but i’d review the menu and try and have my order ready before dealing with the chaos that’s the line/waiting for food area.

Terrible management. If you can’t handle the volume of orders you receive, don’t offer online ordering.

I’ve been ordering from this place on Saturdays for the past month for the business I work for. I love their sandwiches, and usually do not make complaints. However, here is one for the books. I always simply make the order online, and they deliver on time. This time, I called, and they stated they were not delivering anymore. Not what the website stated. They also stated that they did not receive the order, then admitting to me that they would fulfill the order. Hmm. that means you received the order, right! They still would not deliver the order, but did agree to wave the $ 2.00 fee. Clearly the manager enjoys making up lies to get out of things. Holiday or not, you should fulfill the needs of your guests.

I walked by Taylor one day and decided to go back for lunch one day soon. Mainly due to the nice looking exterior and signage. I ordered my food online and went to pick it up — nice feature, especially during lunch time. I ordered a variety of things since a few menu items caught my eye — the Callowhill(spicy meatball sandwich), seasonal risotto balls, and butternut squash salad. Overall I was very pleased with the food. The sandwich was exactly as described spicy with sharp provolone. A lot of places say spicy and it’s not truly spicy, this was definitely spicy and I loved the taste of the sharp provolone. The seasonal risotto balls had truffle butter, cheese and mushrooms in addition to risotto and were tasty as well. The squash salad was colorful and fresh. A great mix of flavors, especially for fall. I would definitely recommend this place for lunch or a quick dinner. I will definitely go back.

The sandwiches and salads are really, really good. Most are not healthy, which is why they are so freaking good. When getting the chicken on a salad or sandwich upgrade to the cutlet. You won’t regret it! The line moves fast, which means you may not have time to figure out your order while waiting, which throws me every time. Getting your order is, unfortunately, complete chaos. It’s very loud so first of all you can barely hear the person calling your name. And second of all, yeah, it’s by name. So if the cashier gets your name wrong, or if you have an unusual name or maybe you’re a woman named Craige, you can expect to wait extra long for your order to be given to someone else, for that person to bring it back and for it to be rewrapped. This will happen even if you go to the counter to check on your sandwich before it’s ready. We could just blame my parents. OR Taylor could switch to a number system. Call me crazy! Actually, I’m totally going to say my name is Crazy next time.

To echo what others have said about the catering here: they are often late and then when you call to inquire about your late delivery, they are rude and transfer the blame around. Amina Edris is the catering director of this particular Taylor and all I can say is that NOONE can understand her. She’s impossible to converse with over the phone. I understand that people have accents, but when you cannot be understood, you probably shouldn’t work in customer service. I had to transfer her to FIVE different members of my team, only to find no one could translate. Through email, she is curt and abrasive. Don’t order here.

Better than most chain sandwhich hoagie joints and has a good variety. You can get any meat and some unique combinations of ingredients as well. I had a roast beef which had arugula, fresh mozzarella and a garlic dressing on it. All the items were proportionate and filling. I do like that the regular hoagie was cut in half to exchange with someone else and try different ones out.

I love Taylor, especially the Philly cheesesteak #2. However, this location always seems to mess up my order.

Taylor is a good lunch spot. However, the cashier didn’t seem to understand my order and also rushed through the add ons. This kind of made me feel stupid and not valued as a customer. Additionally, the sandwiches are good, but not great. They don’t seem to have that extra«it» factor, and I have tried 3 or four different ones. They are ok. I really like the fried risotto balls. They are delicious. Really interesting food item that I love!

Expensive tasteless sandwiches. Tried two of their sandwiches: Pattison pork hoagie — very very very soggy sandwich, lack of taste. Cherry roast beef — I thought the Pattison was bad enough, the Cherry was probably the worst or the 2nd worst sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. The bread was not fresh at all, making it difficult to bite into the sandwich. The bread looks and taste like an old bagel that’s been sitting out for days, if you know what I mean. Other than the pepper spicy taste to the sandwich, the sandwich itself was tasteless.

Hit or miss. Some of the sandwiches are really good but some taste like a subway breakfast(I am think of some sandwich with a sausage patty in particular, don’t recall which one but it was all processed and tasted like it).

This place sucks!!! We ordered several times from this place for office lunch. They tend to come 45 minutes late and when u call to ask where is the food they are rude and curt. To make matters worse they have gotten the order wrong two times in a row(fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice…). Then the deliverer has the nerve to ask where is his tip. Here’s a tip, BRINGTHEFOODONTIMEANDGETOURORDERSCORRECT! Food is ok but service is the worst, GOURMETSANDWICHWITHGHETTOSERVICE. They need new management. Get it together people and learn about customer service!!!

I’ve always been a little skeptical of Taylor given how expensive their sandwiches are. But a regular size hoagie was actually quite filling and the south sandwich I got was really tasty. I substituted mozzarella for the goat cheese and it really worked. The chicken cutlet was crispy and savory, not dried out and rubbery like many chicken cutlet sandwiches suffer from. And the basil pesto was great, not too powerful but enough to manifest itself in every bite.

Love the unique ingredients Taylor uses in their sandwiches. I visited this location during Monday lunch hour and the place was PACKED! Every seat was taken and there was a mass of people waiting for their orders. They’re super efficient and have an army of staff to crank out sandwiches with perfect accuracy. It took 10 minutes to place, wait for, and receive my order. Amazing! I got the Cherry hoagie on wheat with hot peppers. Brie, roast beef, cherry pepper garlic sauce, and arugula is the perfect combination. The hot peppers added a nice kick. I also noticed some rosemary in the sandwich that heightened the flavors even more. My mouth is salivating just thinking about this sandwich… I didn’t get the risotto balls this time, but they’re definitely worth trying! TIP: There’s a great Groupon deal going on now:

I love Taylor Gourmet as a franchise. They have great sandwiches, and I have never ordered a sandwich I haven’t liked. They are consistently good, and I even recommend it to people that are coming in from out of town. I mean it’s good enough for POTUS and The VP to drop by. This location in particular is amazing. I once had a messed up sandwich, and the manager refunded me, gave me a free sandwich, and a free side. They really take pride in their food and making sure that their customers feel valued.

Best vegetarian sandwich ever. And it was even vegan! Lehigh is cauliflower with a roasted red pepper sauce, arugula, and white bean hummus on wheat(or white, but why not wheat?). My only complaints: — More healthy drink options, please. Soda(ginger ale) was good, I like that it was all natural. I was really hoping for a smoothie or juice to pick me up in the afternoon since I can’t have caffeine. — Holy expensive! I don’t usually eat out for even half that much nowadays, so this was a splurge. But it was sooooooo good. I look forward to next time, though that may not be soon enough.

The whole wheat bread, great, but not for sandwichs. Too rough on the mouth. Never had Taylor before, like their ingredients, like their approach, should’ve tried the sammy with white. Tried three that day because I liked so many of their Sammy’s — maybe next time. The bread overwhelmed the ingredients

I walked by this place yesterday and the smells emanating out were mouth-watering. I’d already eaten lunch, but promised myself I’d come back some other time. Some other time ended up being today. What can I say? I’m an instant-gratification type of girl. A coworker and I stopped in for lunch and both really enjoyed our hoagies. I didn’t realize this place was inspired by Philly, but I love it even more for that very reason. Bright LOVE graphic on one wall, long wooden tables and paint pails for lights, this place is rustic and street chic if I do say so myself. I got the Pearl Street hoagie and my comrade got the Cottman Ave. I have no idea if they make it in house, but the bread was phenomenal. I wish I would have gone with a chicken cutlet hoagie. Despite the verbiage on the menu that tells you the turkey is roasted in house daily it was very lunch-meat-esque if you ask me. Bottom line: cool/funky décor, good food and fast service. I’ll definitely come back.

Ayyy Obama eats here so It’s bound to be good! This review is dedicated to my love for Love Park, a salad made of arugula, grilled chicken, mozeralla, cherry tomatoes, what looks like couscous and a generous dressing of some kinda vinaigrette. Look here! I am a recent convert to eating salads for lunch and this is the salad I dream off. Its got everything I love without making me wish I could have some bread and God as my witness, I love bread! For a salad to make me forget bread is a BIGDEAL! Try it out and let me know but plz, no haters! Also, their Puck organic soda machine is legit! I loveeeee the organic coke and i don’t even like soda! Perk: they have crushed ice instead of boring ol’ regular ice. Bonus points!
