I had visited this gas station several times, on this particular day May 3, 2015 once again i stopped to make a purchase and i wished the heck i had not, before proceeding i have to admit i left my purse in the car so it was my dumb mistake which i no longer make, lesson learned, anyway once returning to my car i noticed my window was busted out and my purse gone, no money for them since i took my money in the store with me. Nevertheless, it was so upsetting because i had things in my purse i had to replace and ofcourse my window had to be replaced. Unfortunately, the world we live in full of sick sinners, yep the Lord was sure nuff right about us, Evil! thank you Jesus for your gift of forgiveness and salvation. I have not been back to that gas station since its just not a place i care to ever visit again!

Just like the other 2 said, this station is in on purse snatching. Mine was stolen from the Shell at 10 000 Greenbelt Road in Lanham, MD and the thieves attempted to use my cards at this station. It appears I was not the only person this happened to at the Lanham Shell and the managers there also appeared not to care. They didn’t even want to let me use their phone to call 911.

Great great service! Only thing is pumps can get crowded but it’s DC right off rt 50 and NY ave is close so expected.

I really don’t like this Shell. I only come here when I’m desperate. A friend got robbed here a few years ago. Never come her at night. You’re likely to get shot or get your car stolen. I can’t wait until they fully rehab this area.

You aren’t ok even with locked doors. Some jack-​wad smashed my window to get my purse yesterday, middle of the afternoon. As a previous reviewer noted, the manager was useless. There’s something pretty fishy about that place.

As the previous poster wrote about I can attest that my purse was stolen out of the front seat of my car while I was pumping gas last Monday morning at 8:00 am. I went to talk to the manager who was useless and did nothing but say «call 911» I asked him to look on his security tapes and verify that the robbery did occur and maybe he could identify who did it so we could tell the police. He stood there and stared at me and pretended not to understand what I was saying. When the officer did show up he told me another lady at the Shell station next door (2350 South Dakota Ave) had her purse stolen out of her front seat 10 minutes before me! STAY AWAY FROM THE GAS STATION… my theory is the manger is in on the action and why he refused to help me or talk to the cops.

This gas station has the typical over priced DC gas. They sell snacks and drinks as well. Caution though. This station is a favorite of thieves who grab your purse from the vehicle while you pump gas or pay. Lock the doors and you’ll be fine
