Seafood Market Deli

Absolutely love the fried shrimp and fries with mumbo sauce!

The cook is from Anderson, SC so you know he knows something about cooking. I usually go to the Jamaican restaurant next door but today I decided to checkout this little seafood market on the corner. I will tell you the food is cooked as ordered so don’t expect a pre-​made sandwich to come flying out to you as soon as you pay. I went with a whiting fish sandwich that was excellent and it for some reason it tasted better when I saw him flowering the fish right then and there and then cooking it. I know my food was fresh and going to be hot. I got a sweet tea while I was waiting and the amount of sugar used reminds me of how I made my Kool Aid as a kid.
It is a small place offering a few different options but I am looking forward to trying those other options. I am not sure why but on a shelf in the store there were cookies, laundry detergent, bleach, and hot sauce. Yes this place seems to sell everything. You will not be wowed by the décor as there is no option to sit down and eat. It is straight carry out. If you want you can also buy fresh fish there but the selection is small in terms of options. I saw tilapia, whiting, and catfish.
