I come here every couple of weeks to check out their amazing finds on all sorts of furniture, dishware, artwork, rugs, decorations, and I always happily end up leaving with a piece of someone else’s history. I find that you can get higher quality coffee tables, end tables, dining tables, etc here, which I prefer to the equally priced IKEA or box store furniture. Here you find unique items that have a special quality to them that I find lacking with newer furniture stores. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, would highly recommend striking up conversation and getting advice for what you are looking for, otherwise feel free to explore on your own and don’t forget to look up and behind things. Dig through it.

Great place with great finds. The prices are pretty reasonable and they offer discounts for cash payment. There are way too many things in a limited space so it’s sort of hard to get to see everything, they move and reach things for you if you ask to check them out m. Friendly service.

Lots of stuff here but WAY over priced. Not sure what the other reviewers are talking about. I walked out without a small, basic shelf that was at least double the price it should have been.

This place is great. Jam packed full of stuff. Great prices. Discount if you pay cash. I got a beautiful dresser there for $ 150(most of the dressers were more expensive). Bill and crew delivered it to my house the next day, and brought it right into my bedroom! Delivery price is fair. If you want interesting furniture without having to assemble or move anything, this is the place to go. And the $ 35 delivery fee would have gotten me even more items delivered if I had been purchasing other stuff. Really reasonable.

Go with your imagination. Cash helps. Look over, under, above and thru to find your gem. Are you a collector? Visit frequently. Where does he find this stuff? I don’t care. Please bring more. I have suggested Pintrest or some web presence to the owner and he isn’t interested. So I feel like it is a hidden gem that only the seekers of good stuff know about.

This may be the best antiques store in DC! There are two floors jam packed with tables, chairs, dressers, cupboards, wood carvings, mirrors, vintage Pyrex, and much more for your home. Don’t forget to open cupboard doors because there are even more goodies hiding inside. Sometimes they offer deals such as 50% off so keep an eye out! The prices are fair and for less than Ikea, you can get a piece of furniture that’ll you’ll want to keep forever.

Love this store! This is what a store like this should be — floor to ceiling of old stuff in varying conditions at prices that are actually reasonable! You can certainly find some wonderfully unique items here. A lot of the furniture is not in great shape, but it’s perfect for the person who likes to find the right piece and refinish it themselves. If you’re willing to put in a little elbow grease, this store offers some great options because you can buy some truly unique stuff without spending an arm and leg. Items in the basement are often on sale, and items are always 20% off if you pay cash, making the prices even more reasonable. The owner is friendly and helpful, as well. They do a pretty good job of turning over merchandise, so every weekend you can find a slightly different selection of stuff. I do wish items that were on the shelves a long time were marked down more frequently, but I get the impression you could probably bargain down the prices if you are so inclined.

Bill, the owner, is a great guy – very helpful, easy to deal with. His store is two stories and fun to browse and uncover things.

I love this store. If you’re looking for antiques, collectibles or just a unique piece, this is the place to go. We bought a great antique dining room mirror there with a unique old frame, as well as a beautiful little chinese trivet(only $ 2!). You may get overwhelmed or feel claustrophobic going in with so. much. stuff. everywhere. But it’s well worth a look around. The inventory is constantly turning over – whatever you were eyeing last time has probably been purchased when you return. So I love to drop in on the weekend and wander through, even though I never need anything in particular. Would be a great place to go if you just moved into a new home or apartment and didn’t have much. I see beautiful mint condition dressers and pantry cabinets, as well as coffee tables, lamps, mirrors, a velvet couch, chairs, art, and everything else you could ever imagine and want to furnish your house with. If your aesthetic is modern white and stainless steel loft, you may not like this place(though there could still be a few foreign pieces that could work). If you like eclectic charming homes and have a penchant for some of the original furnishings or just anything not in a catologue, you’ll feel like a pig in slop. In a good way. Accept credit cards but often there’s a cash discount.

R&R is fantastic… simply a treasure. I don’t know how these two do it, but the overflowing mountain of goodies always seems to be rearranged and re-staged every time i walk in here. Unlike most thrift stores, R&R feels like it has a whole new inventory every week. The most RANDOM and amazing assortment of vintage and antique items for the home… mostly for decorating, but some furniture too. Some things I’ve seen or bought there recently: Antique zebra-print cowhide footstool. Vintage champagne glasses. 1920’s radios Red lacquer 60’s mod liquor cabinet Grecian statues and busts Antique bible stand with page weights(painted red) Vintage luggage, bags and hat boxes And so much more… I think these guys are pretty discriminating about what they buy and stock. This is NOT a dusty pile of junk like your neighborhood Goodwill. I get the distinct impression they have personally selected and approved every item. You will literally be like whaaat? Look at this! Ooh! Look at that! There is just so much quirky, cool, eclectic and colorful stuff in here. Prices are already good, but they regularly have KILLER sales(as much as 50% off everything) and always seem to offer a 20% discount if you pay in cash. I ALWAYS walk out of here frustrated I don’t have more time to browse, and can’t buy as much as I want. And that’s just how I like it.

I’m shocked there aren’t more reviews on this fine gem. I love this store. It’s done me well and worth the climbing through, looking under, tripping over and bumping into junk that is staggered throughout. I certainly recommend this spot if you want to buy stuff that is good(seriously sweet, classic and affordable) and junkie(in a way that will add character and value to your abode). LOVEIT! Go and support!
