I need to get the word out! Don’t drink any smoothes out that place! I’ve saw them spray cleaner near the ice and complained. The lady rolled her eyes and then proceeded to spray the cleaner on the metal dividers that divides the fruit! I showed another guy in there what was going on and he left but that’s not enough… I need to get the word out!

I have been there few times. I have always been satisfied with the juice. the service is always adequate and not slow. Overall, I recommend this place for juice.

Healthy, innovative, and great-tasting. The only flaw is that they don’t allow custom smoothies. But the menu thought of everything and it’s cheap, so I say it’s a must-try shop. «Healthy never tasted this good» fits the shop perfectly.

Conveniently located in Tenleytown. The employees are friendly and have good service. They know the menu, so if one needs a recommendation, they will provide a good one! They will sometimes offer free samples on hot summer days or when promoting a new flavor. The place doesn’t have a lot of space to sit down but it’s not really needed due to the on-the-go customers.

Super sweet staff. Invigorating fresh juices. My favorite is the Evergreen with ginger.

Don’t get me wrong the smoothies here are absolutely great! I absolutely LOVE açai bowls and they are extremely hard to find in D.C. The ones here are probably the best i’ve had in D.C. However, there’s only 1 – 2 people ever working in the store and it takes forever to get your smoothie, bowl etc. The person who makes the smoothies is usually the same person who is at the cash register, so you can imagine how long it would take just to get your order. The service is also awful, one time i ordered an açai bowl and they didn’t have granola or bananas so they just gave me the açai. All this being said i still do go there because the stuff is delicious and it is in a super convenient place for me. Dow i wish the service was better and faster? Yes, but what can i do.

I used to be obsessed with this place, but recent changes have been a little disappointing– for one they got rid of my favorite smoothie the«outrageous raspberry» and it seems like the sizes are smaller with their new cups. Still fresh tasting and refreshing smoothies however! If the prices were a little lower I’d probably come here a lot more.

So today I walked into the Robeks and I hear … Customer: «oh boy you guys don’t have the… the …(pause)…» Salesperson: «Kale ABC Drink.?» Customer: «YES!!! That one… you don’t make that anymore?» Salesperson: «No Sir» After about 3 more customers give their order it’s my turn. Me: «ummmm I don’t see the … awww. Theee, I’m sorry I can’t remember the name but it has…» (salesperson interrupts me and says) Salesperson: «The Watermelon… no ma’am. I think we can create something.» Me: «We’ll I was actually talking about the Kale Breeze. « Salesperson: «O o o o I just thought I saw you order that one before» Me: «Nope not me and this is the first time I’m meeting you. I’ll be sure to remember you» Salesperson 2:(runs to start making my drink) True story. Customer– played by a White Male Salesperson– played by a White Female Salesperson 2– played by a Black Male Me– played by Black Female So very sad…

They always make what I ask for and know how to make it tasty! Other smoothie shops and juice shops aren’t ingredient and taste and nutrition experts(in regards to calories etc in smoothies/juices). I love that what they make tastes healthy! I’ve been to other juice shops, where they add things to the drink to increase caloric value to undesirable levels, which can lead to weight gain and junk up the body. Their smoothies/juices even taste clean and detoxifying and I can feel my body saying thank you for something that tastes great and is great for me. I don’t know what they put in their smoothies to make them power me with happiness, but I’m in smoothie love. Robeks is the place to go!

very fast service. the fruits are fresh and the staff are friendly and informative. i have been going to robeks, particularly this location in tenleytown for about 4yrs now. different staff, same service. just today i went to order a mojito melon and mahalo mango and they had to cut new watermelon for me since they ran out so we had to wait. i got my drink upgraded from a medium to a large since i waited a little longer than usual, i really didnt mind the wait since it wasnt that long anyway. keep it up robeks! two thumbs up for this location.

The place is legendary. The have juices with kale, spinach, and beets and they have smoothies with mango, papya, and lychees. Whatever you need, they have and its reasonable priced. This is perfect pre or post workout and the fact that they have the juicer that literally liquefies any veggie or fruit is KRAZY! Shot out to Jack Lalane. RIP

Favorite smoothie place!!! The best thing is you can customize and add whatever you want in it! They also have vegan shakes!

The smoothies are delicious, the staff always friendly, and the shop is conveniently located … but it’s WAY overpriced. I realize this is a *corporate* issue(this is a chain) as opposed to a problem with the individual store, but I have a hard time coughing up $ 7(not counting add-ins) for something that’s mostly ice with a handful of kale and a couple frozen dehydrated berries thrown in. Also the layout is inefficient and you have to spend twenty minutes standing in line behind shouting high school students to get your Emperor Acai.

As juice bars go, this place is very good. The people are cool and offer suggestions if you’re not sure what to get.

How hungry do you get when you are doing a juice cleanse? Well, let’s put it this way. The chapped portion in the center of my upper lip has not made it through this afternoon. There was a momentary lapse where seven peanut M&Ms were enjoyed. I’m thankful that I will only be doing this for two days. The better question is, «how does my upper lip taste in comparison to juices at Robeks?» Do I prefer a level of cannibalism over freshly juiced vegetables? I don’t know. I’ll say this. The juice version of celery is not appetizing. I’m not really feeling the spinach or the beets either. Perhaps if they took the B Spot’s lead and added something organic vanilla to their product instead of only ginger, the resulting product might have better taste. Good luck convincing a conglomerate that the DC local juice bar is doing it right. I can’t destroy Robeks. For one, I’ve never had a smoothie or a gourmet pretzel here. Second, the service here is quite friendly and that should count for something. Third, the juices are undoubtedly fresh. On the other hand, the juices simply are not that tasty. The sugary pop makes me question my masculinity even more than the fact that I’m on a cleanse. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant, when you look past the surface of florescent colors, is slightly underwhelming. I noticed that one of the employees was working without gloves. This isn’t what I want to see when I’m trying to get a healthy drink. If you are looking for juice in Tenleytown, this is your only bet. If that is the case, then welcome to Robeks. However, if you are afforded more choices, you should probably take advantage of them.

My coworkers and I LOVE this spot for a fruit smoothie or fruit drink! The Maholo Mango, Strawberry Bliss, basically all of there drinks are just delicious! Always greeted with the with a smile and the fresh fruit smell. Note: make sure you get the Robeks punch card to receive a free drink once your card is full.

sure, my smoothie was only 221 calories, but it also had 42g of sugar, so do i feel better about myself for sipping my breakfast? no. absolutely not. the worst part is that i thought it would be filling. it wasn’t. i was reaching for the raw almonds in my desk drawer only an hour later. the smoothies here *are* consistently well-made and taste fruity and refreshing, but they just aren’t as nutritious as you want them to be or think they are. i’ll stick to making my own smoothies without sugar and keep the almost $ 7(!!!) in my pocket.

As a West-coaster(Hawaii counts, right?), I’ve been spoiled by Jamba Juice. Robeks just doesn’t stack up to Jamba’s selection or service back West, but it can provide a familiar taste to those who need a quick pick-me-up or reminder of home. The fruits don’t seem very fresh to me and my drink is often bitter because of it. The viscosity varies every time I go and the flavour seems different too. It’s okay for what it is, but it ain’t Jamba.
