I called Angie randomly after coming across her salon on Unilocal.I just wanted something quick & cute for my birthday. Since I have natural hair & rarely let anyone touch it, I’m very skeptical about hair stylists. Angie made me feel 100% comfortable immediately. For some reason I trusted her instantly & I glad I went with my gut. I just wanted something simple but Angie had in mind a style in mind & since I’m a «go w/​the flow» kinda girl I told her to do whatever she wanted. By the time the 4th person stopped in to chat & commented on my hair I figured it had to be something to behold. When I looked in the mirror, I damn near cried from joy it was so pretty. I felt like Dorothy Dandridge 3.0! I got compliments from friends & strangers the entire day. I will definitely be back to see Angie when I want to switch up my look. Her level of care & creativity is the kind of service I look for when spending my $$.

Angee has been my hair stylist for the past 2.5 years. She is very professional and knows what I want! Angee is very committed to all of her clients and provides each individual with the same care and attention. She has created my short style cuts, fulls weaves, and color. Her assistant is also great too. Lee will usually start with my shampoos and/​or touch ups so there are no longs waits. I am usually in and out of the shop within 1.5 hours for a shampoo blow dry and style.
Pricing is also very reasonable. I am glad that she was recommend to my sister and I and will continue to support her at Raising the Bar.
