I always loved &pizza for years now. it’s like the chipotle of pizza except more ingredients

I got the build your own pizza and of course it was very good. The staff for the most part were very friendly and as usual there is almost always 1 who is possibly having a bad day. Overlooking that because of the kindness and professional attitude of the others, the company can’t suffer because of 1 person who might be having a bad day. The interior was clean. Because of the shop being so small it is a little crowded especially during the lunch and dinner rush. However your pizza your creation your enjoyment. A must try if you ever in DCA terminal C

I saw the ‘&’ sign from all the way down the terminal and walked as fast as my little legs could carry me to get some yummy goodness! The service was fast and I was in and out in five minutes. I love this place!

We had the Maverick. Yummm! Slightly spicy. The crust was NY style chewy with a very nice char. Not 5 stars because their seating is very limited. For this airport location they should go with a bigger space. Greasy! Grab plenty of napkins!!!

Oh yes. Thank you DC. Our lay over would have been dreary with out &pizza. The cool logo(it spells Oneness) caught my eye and the pizza on the other person’s table made this pizza look enticing. Thankfully it’s as good as it looked. In 4 mins it came out of the oven and ready for toppings of my choice. The house made pizzas looked great too. The dumplings and Five Guys Burgers are other great options. Oh, Georgetown Gourmet has an espresso bar for some good coffee too. Thanks terminal B.

This pizza was so fresh and delicious I may attempt to connect through Reagan National again in the future. I had the gnarlic with salami — a little different than what I would normally order(not the garlic part — but everything else) — it was absolutely outstanding. Fresh, delicious, tasty, filling — I only needed to eat half but I knew after the first bite it was inevitable that the whole thing didn’t stand a chance — and I was correct — clean pizza box club. Sound silly — but I even like their unique water bottles. Staff was nice, friendly, and funny. &pizza was a great ‘break’ from the norm at airports — fresh, fun, and fantastic in all regards. Check it out and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.

I was so excited to see &Pizza at the airport and just as excited to try a breakfast pizza. But at 7:25 they were the only restaurant at the airport that was not open. I tried to ask the person behind the gate what time they would open but she didn’t know and really didn’t seem to care about my pizza craving. There were three people behind the gate that looked as if they hated their job. So sad to get that at such a great brand. I’ll try next time I’m at the C terminal. Maybe next time!

Great selection Creative topings Attentive service Clean and orderly Presentation, style and ingredients are better than pieology, blaze and pizza rev. However, it would be nice if the dough was fully cooked. I ate this during my flight so I couldn’t get a refund. It would also be nice if the crust was crispy(its thin crust for a reason).

I love &pizza! I’ve eaten at two of their other locations, and they’re all fabulous. I love their spot in Terminal C; it’s almost enough to make you want to only fly out of Terminal C!(Then again, who really wants to fly out of Terminal A??) This is the first time I’ve had one of their breakfast pizzas. I got the carbonara pizza; which was good(so big… I was wishing my wife was there to share it with me, because I never normally eat that much for breakfast). My only complaint with the pizza was that it was pretty salty. Next time I’m there for breakfast, I’m definitely getting the all-American; it looked equally as good(and maybe a tad less salty).

The best pizza in DC, hands down. However, the service was terrible at this &pizza! The woman who made my pizza was nice and totally fine. But this was weird: she was putting my dough through the flattening thing and it got a small rip. So she threw the whole thing away? Just seems very wasteful… The woman working the register was just terrible! Rude rude rude. While packing my pizza, she took a personal call on her cell phone… obviously had no work ethic at all. If I were a manager, I would not want this woman representing my company… especially a great business like &pizza!

I had never heard of &Pizza until I stumbled in to it at DC airport — terminal C. It was pretty great the first time I tried it and it’s never disappointed. You walk into the line and can choose regular dough or whole wheat. Then you choose from specialty pizzas or build-your-own options. When I was on my low-cholesterol plan I’d order the moonstruck which came with mushroom truffle, marinated mushroom blend, goat cheese, red pepper chili oil, mushrooms, and this delicious fig marsala. The pizza comes in a rectangular shape and sliced into 10 squared and easy to eat slices. Mmmmm! I love it! I usually have it with a Pellegrino clementine soda. This last time I tried the Kiss & Fire. A ricotta spread, spicy tomato, shredded cheese, meatballs and a tasty strawberry balsamic sauce. It was yum and filling, I couldn’t finish this one but I’m glad I tried it. Now this is not the place to sit down and eat your pizza, they don’t have space for tables and chairs. You barely have space to pay and work your way out of the shop amongst all the people waiting in line. However, if you have a few minutes to spare, order your pizza and then eat it at your gate or on the plane. They also don’t have too many options for drinks but whatever, the pizza is the reason I’m there. If you’re ever in this terminal, be sure to try. It won’t disappoint.

The CHIPOTLE of pizza! Ohh my goshhh! This pizza was absolutely amazing! Best airport food ever! I had pepperoni, red pepper, and spinach! My boyfriend and I shared this pizza for lunch so if you don’t want to «overeat» at the airport, this is a great selection! I’m not super particular about the kind of pizza I like but this was fab! Not doughy! Crispy edges! Can’t go wrong when you can create your own pizza!

Really good airport pizza! So good, I would eat here even if it wasn’t in an airport terminal. Start out or finish off your trip with a yummy pizza if you’re in this terminal! We tried three and here they are in order of our favorites: 1. Moonstruck(5⁄5 stars): if you’re a mushroom lover, this is a must! Loaded with mushrooms and ricotta cheese, then topped off with a fig sauce. If you’re eating on the plane, grab tons of napkins! This one’s messy. 2. Ngarlic(5⁄5 stars): looks extremely simple, but didn’t anyone ever tell you looks can be deceiving? Flavor explosion with the blend of cheeses and garlic. Your seat mates on the plane will hate you if you don’t offer a slice. The smell is to die for. 3. Backyard garden(3⁄5 stars): Don’t wait to eat this one, it gets soggy fast. Spread with a ricotta sauce and garlic sauce then topped with tons of veggies. Tasty and healthier tasting than our other two. FYI: –You can go half and half on your pizza! Perfect way to try more than one signature creation. –They have wheat dough(and it’s good!) –You can make your own(but with all the different options, you might miss your flight). –They are happy to make any substitutions you want(my dad got tomato sauce on his backyard garden to make it a bit healthier). –If you have great willpower, they also have salads. Thank you DCA + &pizza for ending our trip on a food high note! *keep in mind, 5 stars is in comparison to airport food, not all other pizza I’ve ever had*

Really good pizza. I know it’s in an airport, but compared to the one I just had this week in CLT, this was outstanding by comparison — in choices, taste and service. I was tempted by the breakfast carbonara before going with a custom spicy chickpea, falafel(I know, overkill), mushrooms and arugula. It had some kick. Lots of custom combinations available plus some neat standards. The box provided good protection and fit neatly in a non crowded overhead compartment. Still eating leftovers for lunch. Would seek out another one of their locations if in the DC area again, it was that good. For PA and NJ Unilocalers, it’s similar to Jules Thin Crust.

I am in DC about five times each year and I now have a go-to pizza joint. I have yet to est in the restaurant because it is always full, but I take a fresh pie to my hotel room. The pizzas are artistic and loaded with flavor. I think they add too much«salad dressing» to the top of the pizzas at the end so I advise that you tell them exactly how much you want. I am not a fan of wet pizza or any topping that overwhelms the rest of the flavors. I am certain that you have read about many of the pizzas and I urge you to try two by getting one half each of two kinds so you can try more than one signature pie if you are eating here for the first time. I want to review the beverages. They make several sodas and have jars full of tea. I think the tea is just that — tea. Nothing amazing for me, but I am not a real tea connoisseur. The carbonated beverages are the real differentiator for me. I AM a root beer connoisseur. They have a half dozen different beverages, one of which is a delicious root beer and another that is white birch beer. Not every location has every flavor of soda. You may want to call ahead to make sure you pick the right place.

I spotted &Pizza at DCA as soon as I entered the terminal. Didn’t help I’d been on the plane for 3 hours with no food or drink. The line was much quicker than the locations in the city so I was in and out in under 5 minutes. That never happens at the larger storefronts in DC. The staff was very friendly and a lively bunch. You can definitely tell they like their jobs and care about their customers. I would knock off ½ a star because they were out of bacon.

First off, this is part of the &pizza chain(I’ve requested a name change with Unilocal)…my guess is whoever added this listing to Unilocal hadn’t heard of the &pizza chain and was confused when they saw the box say LOVE& pizza. Anyways. When doing my research for my day trip to DC, I stumbled upon many highly rated &pizza locations and did actually try and fit one in for a quick and cheap lunch, but alas, didn’t find the time… so when we returned to the airport I was happy to find this location and finally check it out.(Located in the C terminal after going through security). After looking over the menu I settled on one of their signature pizzas, which really is more of a flat bread in terms of shape and thin-ness. I went with the Moonstruck which had the potential to be amazing, and really was except for one thing — the red chili oil drizzled on top. This oil tasted like buffalo sauce and really didn’t compliment the mushrooms at all, to the point where I even googled the menu again afterwards to make sure they didn’t actually give me the wrong sauce, but it does actually seem as though this was the sauce they intended. If it wasn’t for this sauce I’d be tempted to go to 5 stars as the pizza was really good, and for ~$ 9 could easily be split between 2 people — which makes it a great deal, especially in terms of airport pricing! &pizza also boasts their specialty sodas and I opted for the Pear and Fig, which also wasn’t great in my opinion :(Though, must comment that Katie M’s pizza and soda selection(Mango/Passionfruit) were both delicious, so clearly I just chose wrong! In terms of seating — they have none… ok not true, but only 3 or 4 spots that don’t seem welcoming. There are, however, lots of tables and chairs just outside of here for you to eat at :)

The pizza is pretty good. But I am giving this place one star because of their poorly trained and rude employees. I have never been to &pizza so I had no idea how it worked. I asked one of the girls(the one placing the toppings on my pizza) and she just gave me attitude. I even apologized and said, «I’m sorry I am confused it’s because I just have never been here.» She said it was fine, yet she gave me a load of attitude the whole time. I understand she might be angry with her customers because she is having a bad day or hates her minimum wage job. However, i don’t think that ever gives her any reason to be rude to the customers. I do have to say the other two staff members were helpful. It was just this one girl… Ugh ruining the start of my vacation. She has no right… Negative five stars for poorly training their staff members. I mean this service alone is the reason I would never eat here again. I can go to any food place in the airport, I don’t deserve this kind of attitude from anyone. End of story. Ps. the day is Saturday may 23, 2015. Whoever is working the toppings portion of the assembly line was the one who was being rude.

Our connecting flight home was based out of Reagan and was an hour delayed. We were hungry. We were tired. And nearly everything was closed. Except, &pizza. Although, lets be real, it probably would have been my first choice anyway. Once you see that menu at least! And luckily it lives up. It’s the perfect option for quick dining and I wish every airport had one. The set up is simple – you pick your pizza from a list of preset options OR make your own. I went with make your own option and got pepperoni, mozzarella, mushrooms, tomato sauce and parmesan and garlic oil to finish. My fella got the«Maverick”(Classic Tomato, Housemade Mozzarella, Salami, 39-Day Aged Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Oregano Oil, Parmesan Reggiano). Both were fantastic and we each finished our orders. No leftovers in hand as we boarded the next plane. Make your own is easy and gives vegetarians and vegans more options than they can usually find at airport eats. I’m neither but I was still impressed. You can choose from either a traditional or «ancient grains» crust(both vegan), then choose a sauce(from rich mushroom truffle to tomato to chick pea purée. And I’d say about 90% of those sauces are vegan friendly), then your cheese(3 options, one of which is vegan). Toppings include a plethora of veggies, and proteins from pepperoni to falafel crumbles and smoked bacon. The pizza is then sent through a high heat oven and comes out baked in about 2 – 3 minutes. Then you can finish it with options like arugula, fig marsala, and garlic oil. So many options! Everyone from meat lovers to vegans can put together something delicious. Watching your carbs or gluten? They also have salads. Craving sweets? Two words: Dessert. Pizza. They also carry craft sodas like pear + fig elixer and burdock & anise root beer. Yep. Maybe the best airport food I’ve ever had. Hope they expand beyond the DC area!

I’d never tried an &pizza but I love pizza so of course I had to try them while waiting for my flight in the us airways terminal at DCA. No seriously, I might have a pizza addiction problem. I have ‘sneaked’ a pizza and hid the shredded box at the bottom of the the trash bin. I’ve had pizza for breakfast, and I believe that healthy pizzas exists. I don’t like bad pizza, so I do have limits, but I’m not above a jumbo-slice on the right day. &pizza follows what I like to think of as the chipotle method. You decide what you want from a assembly line of delicious ingredients. To start they offer 2 types of dough, seven sauces and three cheeses. Then you get to select from a variety of veggies, proteins, oils and ‘finishes’. Finishes get drizzled, grated or sprinkled on after the pizza is cooked in a salamander type oven.(Menu pic attached) If all those choices are daunting, they offer a few ‘signature pizzas’. I went with ‘the Maverick’ which included Classic Tomato, Housemade Mozzarella, Salami, 39-Day Aged Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Oregano Oil, Parmesan Reggiano. It was awesome!(See pic). The dough was thin but not flat bread, it reminded me of New York style pizza with the soft bubbles inside of thin crispy dough. The ingredients were fresh and felt slightly decadent(I’m looking at you oregano oil and mushroom truffle sauce) One pizza would have been filling for two people, but like I said, I’ve got a pizza-jones so I gorged – but still left ¼ of my oblong shaped pie behind. Definitely give them a try.
