Either I was starving when I got to this place or this place is quite alright. I think it is the later. Sure, I’ve been to other Chipotle style build-you-own pizza joints, but this one was different. The crust is more rectangular oval and nice and crispy. I really enjoyed the sausage, spinach, and farm fresh eggs that came standard on the Farmers Daughter(I think that was what it was called). OMG … I finished it all, sure its an individual sized, but you can probably split one with someone and still be full enough. The only problem I had was that they had no beer at this location, although the menu shows they offer beer. I noticed the empty tap handles, so maybe they are in process of getting their license or something? I am a pizza fan &pizza is a lot of goodness. I will be back. NOTE: This is a very casual restaurant with no wait staff, just order at the counter.

Went to the location DuPont Circle, Connecticut Ave for lunch today. Alex was real patient as I read orders off my iPhone… Very nice guy and the pizza is always awesome.

During a Unilocal elite event, I had tried &Pizza out in VA at another location. I liked the whole concept and looked forward to trying it out with my own bizarre mix of choices of toppings. So, when I saw it next to my meeting place, I decided to pop in for a quick healthy wheat crust pizza. It was pretty good. Something was a little spicy(garbanzo beans?) but I liked my combo. I’d return here. It was fast. People were friendly. The box made it easy to take he leftovers.

THISPLACEISMYFAVORITEPIZZASPOT… and I’m not a pizza snob… I’ll eat anything from Chuck E Cheese, to Celeste, to Totino’s, to Red Baron, to Cici’s, to Pizza Hut, to Domino’s, Manhattan, Deep Dish Spots in Chicago. I won’t eat Papa Johns tho! bleh. I usually end up here late night, hopefully before the clubs around Dupont let out. I think what does it for me is that you can stack as many ingredients as you want, and it’s only $ 10. The Truffle pizza sauce is killer, then adding all the cheeses, handful of meats, tons of mushrooms. then having it get cooked and adding 4 more different cheeses and then getting the garlic drizzle sauce sets it off for me. Nothing comes close for me at least, price and taste.

RUDE servers/assemblers. No sense of customer service. They ignore you, mumble their questions and get upset when you ask them to repeat your options. So frustrating!

Cheap and cheerful pizza. Much better than your standard quick pizza joint.

Creative menu offering thin crust pizza with options to veganize any pizza with daiya cheese and vegan sausage crumble. The place itself is very open with communal style seating on long tables in the middle. You order at the counter and they make the pizza right in front of you, stick it on a conveyor belt oven, then bring it to your table when done. The pizzas are on the smaller size. My boyfriend and I initially planned on splitting one, but they were so good we ordered a second.

My wife and I had just checked into our hotel when we both decided we were craving pizza for dinner. We searched all the pizza joints around us and saw that &Pizza was the obvious choice for us to try! We were so pleased with everything about &Pizza! Starting with the amazing workers that were patient with us when we weren’t quite sure what we wanted. And the pizza… Man, that was the best pizza we had ever had and we LOVE pizza! We HIGHLY recommend going any chance you get! We will be going back again before our trip is over!

A little skeptical at first but it came together nicely! Good portion, great sauce, plenty of toppings to choose from. Got a little carried away with the toppings. A great place to go if you are eating out with friends with dietary restrictions as you can design your own pizza!

&pizza on my second visit scores 4 on food and 2 on the service. I ordered gnarlic with some of my fav toppings like arugula and this time no salami. It tasted much better than the other time. But, the situation to get a pizza was bizarre. There was only one guy taking care of everything from taking the orders and making pizzas to the cashier! It took us about 20min to get 3 pizzas with having no one in line in front of us. While I had a pizza at hand, my friends were still waiting for the guy to come and take their orders. Very unorganized. I understand that it’s Saturday, and maybe the business is slower, but only one person to take care of everything? Seriously?! Later that we wanted to leave the place, I noticed that another guy joined to help with the orders.

Our flight landed in DC just before midnight & this place was right around the corner from where we were staying — it was open super late so we went here to grab dinner. We had no idea that this area has such a party scene, so we were way underdressed compared to everyone else that was going out on a Friday night — but we certainly didn’t feel uncomfortable… This place is like the Subway of pizza. That being said, I was uncertain as to whether or not my pizza would be good — but I loved it! My husband and I should have shared one, but we didn’t realize how filling it would be. One pizza for two people would be perfect.

Stopped in to &pizza around 1am after a night out at the bar. There was a little bit of a line but they had plenty of workers to keep the line moving pretty quick. The concept behind &pizza is awesome. It’s basically fast food pizza. But the ingredients and toppings are awesome. The pizza is delicious the toppings are all nice and fresh. My friend and I each got something different and we shared. I got the gnarlic and then added tomatoes at the end. It was good. The only thing I would warn people against is loading your pizza with too many toppings because then the dough doesn’t get quite as crisp.

Not your typical pizzeria. They make fresh flat bread pizzas. Love the concept! They have several specials but I went with the build your own. So worth it when you can pay only $ 9.09 and add any amount of ingredients you want. Artichokes, sundries tomatoes, different sauces and so much more! The flat breads come in flour or whole wheat and it was so big that I had leftovers. Tasted just as good next day. Wish we had this closer to home! Was just as good as if I made it myself. Service was fast and cheerful.

I came here at around 11:30am on a Wednesday and it wasn’t crowded but during my stay it definitely started to fill up! I took the advice of a review here to come early so that I didn’t feel rushed when picking my toppings! I told the employee it was my first time and she told me to pick a crust option. I wish I was told that there were menus. I was hoping to see it posted on the wall but when I sat down with my food I noticed that there was a basket of menus right where the ordering line starts. But it’s ok, next I do want to check out the pizza combos they have prepared on the menu though! It was fun to customize my pizza. There are so so so so SO many vegan and vegetarian options. Not really my thing but I could see others loving it. I got my pizza to eat in store but I regretted it after realizing how large it was. Note to self– say to go even if I’m eating it in store so that I comes in a box. I was still able to tackle it. The pizza is thin and I saw people around me finish their whole pizza in one sitting. When I was asked what I wanted to drink, I said a cup for water but was somehow charged for a soda. I was a little bummed until I went to the soda machine and saw their unique soda options. I had mango passion fruit and it was soooo yummy! A man who was, I assume, the manager checked on me and everyone else several times and even offered to refill my drink. I also saw him helping out a few people order when it looked like their first time. Wish he was there when I came in! Overall a great experience

My wife wanted to come here and try the pizza, I thought it was like every other pizza place out there, but I was wrong. I ordered a pizza and was able to put as many things on it as I wanted, all for $ 9.09!!! I would suggest to anyone that goes to the Goergetown area is DC to check out this place and enjoy the pizza. I must say that it’s bigger than you think when you get it, I could only eat part of it than eat the rest the next day. If I could find one here in RI I would definitely get pizza only from there and no where else.

I came to this Dupont Circle &pizza not to sample any of their pizzas, but to try out their new and upcoming addition, the &beer :P From a brewery based out in PA, this beer had more of a sweet note and a smoother texture to other beer I’ve had. I’m not much of a beer person, but I’m sure the beer lovers can appreciate this tons! The staff here are super friendly, and there were plenty of communal tables to share space and enjoy your pies and drinks. +&beer +friendly staff

Late night eats that are highly customizable just the way you want them. Create your own and get whatever you want(shrimp is extra) or order from the menu. The pizzas are all pretty much the same cost and so far they all taste great. The customer service has always been good and the lines move as quick as can be expected once the place gets packed. I’ve yet to have a bad pizza. These are thin crust and big enough to fill you up while soaking up some alcohol. The best thing about & pizza is that you can have it sober and is nowhere near as heavy/grease covered as an Adams Morgan slice. You won’t regret eating one of these during the day or late night.

I’m surprised there are not more reviews for this location. When I went on a Friday night, I noticed it was packed. I went for the 4th of July pre partying in the DuPont area and knew I wanted &pizza. &pizza is my new chipotle. The quick and individualized meal I can get to make my tummy a happy one. I truly wish I could give them more than five stars. It’s that good. The pizza is oblong and therefore you can eat perfect square sized slices. The cheese is melted when it comes right of the oven. I was told that they make their own mozzarella cheese balls. That goes to show their love and care in each of the pizza ingredients. And don’t let me get started on their olives. When I say olives I am taking about fresh and meaty olives. The olives are pitted and smothered in a delicious yet vibrant vinaigrette. The service here is super friendly and the employees work so diligently to get all the orders in. They are so helpful and truly have fun interacting with their customers. Pizza here is a MUST! Must with a capital M!

&pizza is arguably the best of all the build-your-own, $ 10 personal pizza places around. I’m not crazy about the toppings they offer but it’s hard to argue with a chicken, mushroom, spinach, broccoli, roasted red-pepper, tomato, and mozzarella pie. Although you get unlimited toppings, the portion of each one is small so you may need to ask for extra of your favorite to get enough. Also, the spicy tomato had a nice kick to it and made for a solid sauce option.

&pizzas just keep popping up. I wrote a long review for the E Street one which I won’t repeat every time. Assembly line of pizza. Fresh ingredients, nice drinks, friendly to dietary concerns. They have separate pizza slicers for vegetarian and gluten-free pizzas. The locations are all specific to the neighborhood they’re in. Dupont Circle is essentially the boundary between the real DC and the hideous concrete jungle where tourists and lobbyists and politicians lurk, so this location is just on the side that I don’t tend to go to much. It has a hypnotic stripe-y décor which I understand is meant to reference the history of the local gay community. The next door club is sufficiently loud so as to be heard even over &pizza’s own ambient music. I did get good service at this one, with one intrepid employee asking me to list all the ingredients I wanted at once and aptly getting all of them right. They also, unlike the last location I visited, did give me a tray to eat in instead of wasting a pizza box. I tried a chickpea special, with chickpea sauce, chickpeas and falafel on top, among other things. This was probably excessive; as much as I like chickpeas I’d suggest a little more diverse choices, but even so it was still pretty tasty.
