I went here today in hopes of finding something cheaper than the $ 18 concentrated«essential oil» peppermint vile that L’Occitane gave me to see if it really does deter mice. When I walked I was looking around and wasn’t greeted until I got close to the counter where one of the sales ladies was helping another customer with her makeup or something. Honestly though, I didn’t really mind not being greeted. I started looking around the walls and both sales ladies were putting makeup(they sell makeup, right?) on customers so they didn’t really ask me if I needed help. Finally, when I went back to the original counter on the right side of the store and stood to the side of it the lady asked me what I needed and I said something that smells like peppermint and she directed me to the product line on the display next to the other sales ladies station on the left side of the store. Again, since both were working with other customers the lady on the left side of the store didn’t ask if I needed help either. When the first sales lady was done with her customer she started walking in my direction and then asked another customer if they needed help instead of me. I walked back to the counter on the right where the lady who was on the left was now at after having rung up one of her customers. I asked her for help and she was helpful enough. She even told me that«essential oils» are expensive and that they are more potent than the stuff that Origins makes. I wasn’t particularly annoyed or infuriated by this customer service experience as I have been by other ones, and having worked in retail I know what its like to be really involved in helping a customer but I just wish they would have found a way to multitask a little bit better so I wouldn’t have was as much time in the store.
