Martin Luther King Towers

This apartment complex used to be one of the best apartment building in the area but have substantially changed throughout the years. As a tenant of this apartment, I am disgusted. The manager of the building is one of the worst. Very bias and full of crap. She has spent many years treating residents as the bottom feeders. The halls are always nasty and full of urine (just started happening within the recent years), the elevators are always broken and the maintenance in the building are very slow and lazy (God how I wish Francisco was still alive, only maintenance guy that actually worked).
Please save yourself from this horrid nightmare.
Problems that tenants face:
illegal usage of rental office
i.e. Her family and friends are allowed access to the office after COB to use the computers and pick up their packages. I don’t think that is appropriate.
Taking money from certain tenants to speed up their move in process. (These ppl brag about it proudly)
Giving parking access to folks that are recently moving in (minding you there is a «waiting list»). Then calls the cops to ticket and tow service to tow you when you cannot find parking and need to use the loading doc area temporarily
Bumping ppls name on the waiting list to bring in friends that have recently applied
Permitting access to ppl in the building that are NOT residents.
Please if you are considering moving in here, DON’T. Tenants are tired and ready to file a civil suit. We are all miserable and need change now. The bias acts toward us are too much, the disrespect is ridiculous, and then to top it off she sits and laughs at the pains of suffering tenants.
