The food here is terrible. This is a theme park like food stand, as terrible as any other. Too expensive for the quality. VERY VERY POOR quality. My cheeseburger came with an almost FROZEN slice of cheese.
Can’t understand why Smithsonian Institute didn’t close this place yet. One star is TOO much — deserves zero or a negative amount. Terrible place.

Fast food eatery at the National Zoo near the lions and tigers. When it’s super hot outside and you’ve been walking through the zoo, this is probably the best place to cool off with the plentiful seating and air-​conditioning. They have burgers, fries, cold cuts, wraps, etc. Everything is slightly over-​priced but hey, you’re at the ultimate tourist stop. I got a soda from the fountain (free refills).
