I have lived in this building(renting from a condo owner) for nearly 2 years — and this is a great place to live. I am certainly considering purchasing a unit in this building. Major benefits are: 1) Great location: few blocks to metro, new restaurants keep opening regularly in neighborhood, I LOVE living in this part of the city. CVS across the street. Quick access to Union Station. Additionally, whenever you need a taxi, Mass Ave is one of the best streets to live off of because there are always taxis flowing back and forth from Union Station… so I usually get one in 5 seconds via hailing. 2) Good community: Mailing list within building is a great way to communicate and borrow parking spots, sell stuff, plan a rooftop happy hour, etc, with your neighbors 3) Good sound proofing: I’ve lived in many condo buildings and apartments. You obviously can’t throw a loud party without your neighbor hearing, but I rarely hear any noises from neighbors. It’s probably the best sound proofed place I’ve ever lived in. Cons? — Major construction in neighborhood to build I-395 tunnel causes a lot of traffic redirects and noise. Also, there is just a lot of construction everywhere around here(which is good and bad!). The benefit is that new stuff is opening regularly.

Live here now. Love the units. Loft-style; relatively modern for Washington, DC(which is what I wanted). Floor-to-ceiling windows in many of the units. Overall, a very open, airy, lofty vibe.
