Mehh. Limited HH specials. Wasn’t a fan of their pinot noir. Their charcuterie also left much to be desired. It’s a cool concept, but I guess I’m too much of a bourgeois pig. The space is small, but cute. And echoing Traci D’s comment — our bartender was def a robot. Probably the same chick(unless they only employ slow robots).

Honestly, I was super enthused about trying this place. I gathered a bunch of my girlfriends for happy hour tonight. Jugs on jugs of wine! Is there anything better in the world? However when we arrived, we were disappointed to see a sign on the door that Jug and Table was closed for a private event until 8pm. Despite our dismay, we went upstairs to Roofers Union and had a good time. We waited until 815 to head back down to try Jugs. The door was unlocked and we walked in to an empty table. The air was thick and smelled strangely musky. Ok, still wasn’t willing to give up on jugs. I have never been greeted by a more hostile group of elderly post menopausal women in my life. They immediately pounced on my group of friends and I and said, «you’re in a private event, you need to go upstairs,» as if we were a group of vermin off the streets begging for scraps. The sign had clearly stated 8pm as an end time for the event, so we were astonished by this response. We were simply hoping to enjoy the wine on tap and had no intention of crashing a private event. Supremely disappointed, and doubtful I would return. Shame!

Very cool wine bar in Adams Morgan. During happy hour, you can $ 5 glasses of wine or $ 25 for a jug of wine. You won’t see many food orders here but they get everything from the upstairs kitchen at Roofer’s Union.

I really enjoyed my experience here! The happy hour deal is pretty good with $ 5 glasses of their chosen wines or $ 25 for a jug. And you could tell it was real wine, not the boxed stuff I shamelessly indulge in per usual. We also got a meat and cheese board. For $ 12 we had goat cheese, prosciutto, and bresaola. The space is tiny with a maximum occupancy of 38! But it’s still quite comfortable with a lot to see from the wines on tap, to the real life record player. The dim lighting made it perfect for our date night. And I swear everyone inside was so friendly. From the bartender, to the couple that offered me their menu while we waited to sit in the seats offered to us by another couple who rushed to finish when they saw us waiting. Just an overall good vibe, with good food, and great wine!

Jug & Table is the perfect spot for AdMo. Fancy but laid back, small and cozy but not dark and cramped. Wines are on the expensive side, but the quality is good and you definitely don’t feel like you are in Adams Morgan, at least the Adams Morgan I remember from my 20s! Great 1st date spot or a small happy hour with friends. Post up at the window like we did and watch the drunks stumble by!

Amazing happy hour! It’s a great place for small groups to meet up. During happy hour you can get a jug(2.5 bottles) of any of their wines on tap for $ 25! The meat and cheese plates are amazing and pair very well with the wines. Their sandwiches are very good too. And great friendly service to boot!

I think our bartender was a robot. She offered no friendly greetings just a blank stare, a fake smile, and a few head nods. The wine was decent, with decent prices. A great place to grab a few drinks if you can stand the service! The almonds are also amazing… who orders almonds at a bar? Weirdos. But they’re worth it.

While I haven’t actually been to Jug & Table, I wanted to give a quick review for their amazing customer service. My friend had a birthday celebration there the other night and I unfortunately couldn’t make it. I called the restaurant and asked if they could send over a dessert on me. The manager, Dave, was extremely helpful, going so far as to both list and describe each of the dessert options for me. The surprise dessert made my friend’s night and mine too. I’ll definitely be stopping by next time I’m in town.

Place is nice and the happy hour deal for wine is great($ 25 for a jug of wine) but the bartender was so rude that it dampened the overall experience.

I was excited to see a new wine bar in Adams Morgan and came with friends the other night. Had a great time except for the rude bartender who condescendingly called everyone«love», was rude to my friends throughout and was snarky when I asked for the bill. Became so bad we ultimately just went upstairs to Roofers Union.

Visited for the first time last night and had a wonderful experience. Their wine is on draft and they sell glasses, bottles, and jugs. The bartender was very knowledgable and friendly. I ordered the 3 cheese plate and was impressed with each cheese. Definitely coming back this week for their happy hour.

I have only been here for happy hour, but my group of friends has recently made this a consistent thing on Friday’s. The deal is 25 dollars for a jug of wine, I am not sure exactly the volume of the jug, but it is plenty of wine for 25 dollars. The food menu looks good too. This place is a lot of fun.

My gf received an email about a new wine bar opening up that was selling wine by the jug. We went for happy hour and told Theo we would like a jug of white wine, STAT! He politely informed us that a jug of wine is equal to 2.5 bottles of wine. D’oh! We decided on a carafe since we still had dinner plans to make. The place itself is nicely decorated, good décor, clean bathroom with modern fixtures, good selection of wines and beer. I didn’t try the food but it looked good coming out of the kitchen. The vibe is really welcoming and friendly, and the record player is a nice throwback touch. My gf & I had a chance to talk to Theo and he is a super friendly guy. Grab a couple of friends, head on down for a jug of wine, and say hi to Theo.

Loved this cocktail bar below Roofers Union that we happened into when waiting for our reservation. Found out later that the bartender we had was also the head somm — he was fantastic. Super friendly and welcoming. The drinks he made for us were delicious as well. Apparently they had literally opened the doors the night before so this was a nice find. I loved this place for three main reasons: 1. The drinks were killer and the beer list was on point. 2. They exclusively play vinyl as the music, which is just awesome in my opinion. We got to listen to Beastie Boys while we were there which just makes this place win in my book. 3. Jurassic Park on TV; I could have stayed there forever. This is my home now. The décor is on point, really quaint. Love the signage and really just like to overall care put into the whole experience of the bar. You can tell the passion that was put into building it. I will definitely go again next time in DC.
