Shae is amaaazing. After a horrific experience at another spa that left me emotionally scarred and optimistic that I can probably handle childbirth (yes, that bad), I was nothing short of terrified for my brazilian appointment here. They took me as a walk in, and right away everything was great. The room is peaceful and dark, with soothing music… I mean its all a little hokey, but it really does help you feel more comfortable.
HARD WAX IS THE ONLY WAY. It makes ALL the difference in the entire world. I had no idea it would make things so much easier than the alternative. I was in and out under 30 minutes, and it was painless. It was also expensive, however I would have paid anything for such a pleasant experience. Shae was super nice and easy to talk to which makes everything go by quickly. I am not even embarrassed that I gave her a huge hug before I left. I’ve since recommended her to all my girlfriends.
This is her own business (inside David Rios) so its nice to know the person behind it and feel like you are supporting someone who deserves it (even if it is pricey). I’ve since recommended to all my girlfriends.

Hands down Shae is a true master at what she does. Her facials are amazing and she is one of the sweetest people that you will ever meet. Trust me that you won’t be disappointed with the way that your face feels and looks after one of Shae’s «Shaecials!!»

I had the best facial of my life with Shae. I bought a Gilt City voucher for the Maven, so the price was excellent too. The facial was so relaxing and Shae knew so much about my skin. She was also very quick and thorough with the extractions. She recommended a product to me (not even sold there) that is working great for my face. The only reason that I give 4 stars is because of the actual prices. I loved loved loved the facial, but can’t see myself spending over $ 200 on that regularly, and I don’t think that the 30 minute facial would be enough. In the future, I will probably go to Haven once a year, and visit another place for my other facials just to keep the price down. My recommendation is that if you can afford it, then you need to visit her as fast as you can!

I joined Haven Beauty Lounge as soon as Shae created it. A client of hers since 2009 at Bliss Spa, I would follow her anywhere.
Today I had my first Haven pedicure with Gina, and it was fantastic! They have an organic pedicure, with all-​natural products (besides polish), and my feet feel amazing.
Haven isn’t inexpensive, but it is worth it!
