Jamie is amazing! I have been to many places in the city, and no one compares to Jamie’s cuts. After going to another DC salon where the stylist thinned the heck out of my hair, and majorly damaged it, Jamie helped me get my hair back into shape. She always listens carefully to what you want, takes time to go over options, and actually does what you ask for! She has also done blonde highlights on my hair that were beautiful. I highly recommend Jamie!

Jaime is an excellent stylist! I wanted a a subtle change but I wasn’t really sure about what I wanted to do. She did a great job at talking me through my options and the process. I ended up doing a single process hair color and haircut, and was beyond pleased with my result.
Her prices are also very reasonable for this city. If you are looking for a transformation, I highly recommend Jaime. She is a great find in DC, and I will definitely be going back!

Jamie is a great stylist. She is very pleasant and a consummate professional. I have gone to her for a cut, color, and Brazilian blowout several times. She has always done a fantastic job.

Jamie just did updos and blowouts for me and my wedding party. Everyone’s hair turned out amazing. I have fine, thin, terrible hair and Jamie worked magic on it. It stayed perfect all day and night through many hours of dancing and didn’t give me a headache (which is usually a problem when I get an updo). I highly recommend Jamie and she will travel to you for wedding hair!

i love jamie — i refer everyone to her — and they all come out looking gorgeous. her cuts stay true from the salon to the day to to day — and she’s so good at looking at you and knowing what you can and cannot do at home and what will work for you. shes super sweet too!

Jamie is so talented! I followed her from another salon and she’s the only person in the city who I trust with my hair. I call her my bang guru because I have NEVER met anyone who can cut them so perfectly. If I ever move out of DC. I’ll have to fly back. She’s the best!!!

I found Jamie a few years ago when I was looking to drastically change my hair from very long to a bob. Finding someone highly recommended for such a life altering decision wasn’t easy. Jamie not only did a fantastic job at transforming my hairstyle into a fun and gorgeous bob, but she made it a really fun and exciting experience. I’ve been coming to see her ever since and don’t plan to stop. I also brought my little sister (who fried her hair bleaching it at home that turned out an unyielding shade of orange), and she worked her magic to bring the dying back to a shiny, richly colored life. Jamie is a one of a kind artist that is a gem & DC’s treasure.

I am so happy to have found such a versatile hair stylist in DC! Jamie has such a great eye for hair and I have loved the cuts she has done for me. I strongly recommend her for edgy hair cuts, she is very creative and also can deliver just what you ask for if you have something specific in mind. Also Jamie has a great personality I always look forward to coming to see her!

I am a dude, but I am picky about my particular hair style. However, Jaime was very responsive and adaptive to what I wanted. Now I can just go in and she immediately knows what I want. With numerous visits we have become friends and I thoroughly enjoy the visits. Worth the price for hair satisfaction and interaction experience. DUDE RECOMMENDED.

Jamie is a wonderful stylist! I was a client from 2008 – 2013, afterwhich time I moved to PA and was heartbroken to leave her! I think Jamie is incredibly professional and her talent is obvious at the first appointment with her. She worked with my fine and damaged hair and helped give me the perfect cut and color after a different stylist at another salon overprocessed my hair. Jamie recommended the perfect products for my hair texture and helped my hair grow back strong. After my hair was healthy again, she always had suggestions and ideas on how I could change up my look, through either the cut or a bold color change. I think she is particularly gifted with color – she has a great sense of what color will complement each individual person and match with the look they are going for.
I loved being Jamie’s client not only because of her talent and skill, particularly with color, but also because of her enthusiasm and genuine personality. She is wonderful to talk with so the appointment flies by. You feel like she is 100% focused on you while you are in her chair. I truly miss her and when I visit DC again, I will be sure to stop in for a cut and color!

I love Jamie! I wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone else. Jamie is the best stylist & colorist. I’m always confident about doing something new with my hair because I know she will do it right. She really listens to what you want & makes good recommendations. She is also the sweetest person to be around. I was looking for a transformation and Jamie was perfect for this! I went from boring straight shoulder length to short feminine and funky. Each cut has been interesting, fun and suits my style and face.

Jamie is very personable, friendly + listens to what you want. She also makes great/​sexy/​cute suggestions for hairstyles that you may not have otherwise considered, + talks about «the vision» in a wonderful way! Amazing job on hard-​to-​cut/​style Asian hair (because it can be very straight + fine; and that’s not easy to style actually b/​c a lot of times there isn’t enough weight/​texture). ALSO, if you’re thinking about getting a trendy short hairstyle, JAMIE is the girl to go to! =) AMAZING JOB! I highly recommend her.
