Foxhall Dermatology

So I have been going here for about a year and a half when I started seeing Dr. Anna Edhegart, who I absolutely loved! She was so informative and such a great listener. I never felt rushed through any appointment, which is so common with dermatologists these days. Sadly, she relocated to Alaska last summer but I’ve been told by some of the staff that she will return at some point, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I haven’t really connected with Dr Tillman much but that’s because I’ve only seen her once. But the real reason why I still come here is because of Damaris, the aesthetician. She is perhaps one of the most sweetest people I have ever met. She’s so passionate about her job and her clients and she really does go above and beyond for them. I can’t tell you how many times she’s gone out of her way AFTER hours to answer my questions or inquiries regarding services. I go to her for my VI peels and I am beyond pleased with my results every time. My cousin and best friends now also go to her. Yes, the results are amazing but Damaris is what perfects the entire experience. I genuinely mean that.
With all that being said, this place is not the easiest to travel to. I live in Arlington (crystal city to be exact) and yet, it’s still a trek. But the quality of service is worth it.

Laser hair removal? Suzy French is your nurse practitioner extraordinaire who not only understand those tough ethnic hair curses and enables managing it so much easily. She gets it and she makes miracles happen. As she is a trained nurse practitioner, I would only go to her for this!

I purchased a Groupon for the laser treatment last year. I’ve had to go for more sessions, but I don’t mind because Suzy is an excellent technician. The equipment is new and she can give you a prescription for numbing beforehand. She started out gentle because Asians can hyperpigment. And she’s pretty thorough, though I squeeze the squishy ball quite a bit when I anticipate the zap.
The office staff is super nice as well.
Yes, the office is a bit far out from NoVa, but it’s worth the trek for me because I trust Suzy and the office.
I just had a facial with Janelle. I asked a lot of questions, and I really love how she didn’t push any products on me. This is a rarity as every aesthetician that I’ve tried in the DC and NoVA area have been super pushy with products. She did an excellent job with my eyebrow shaping as well.
I have yet to see the doctor, but I probably will at some point!!!
