I’ve been to many consignment stores in D.C. and this is by far one of the best! Their buyer is AMAZING and the store feels like a cute boutique with very fashionable items(not a consignment store). Their selection is well curated, I didn’t see old out of trend things and I think they are more concerned with quality over quantity(AND I HOPEITSTAYSTHATWAY). The Store Manager is a doll and very nice! She is personable, gives you honest advice and will make your experience a pleasurable one. Prices are very reasonable so I’m sure they actually move inventory. Definitely my new favorite consignment shop in the Dupont Area!

Had a great experience consigning and shopping here! The staff are very friendly and helpful and the consignment process is simple and straight forward. You don’t need to make an appointment, which is nice. They took just about everything I brought in, including a Banana Republic scarf, Coach wristlet, Zara shoes and a Kate Spade bracelet. I thought the way they priced the items was very fair and their payment policy is clearly spelled out — you get an email with the price all your items are selling for, you get 40% of the selling price and checks are cut monthly. You even have the chance to pick up your items if they don’t sell. In terms of their merchandise, they have a really good variety of men’s and women’s clothes. Lots of cute purses and shoes, too. Even though I was just supposed to be there to sell items, I ended up buying a gorgeous Dooney & Bourke purse. I think the prices are pretty good — $ 45 for a Milly top, $ 88 for a brand new looking Michael Kors purse. This is definitely a new favorite of mine!

Great staff and service! Visiting from GA and sadly I won’t be able to visit this store more often bc they had great stuff and very reasonable prices. It’s just a block from Secondi so if you’re going there don’t miss this place. Oh yea, they also had a decent selection of designer men’s wear and a lot of high end men’s shoes. I would definitely shop here often if I could.

This review is for potential consigners: I have now taken two batches of clothes to Fillmore to be consigned. I decided to try them out after being frustrated with the policies at the nearby Secondi, and I’m glad I did. Unlike Secondi, which doesn’t give you the option of retrieving unsold items, and rushes to donate items if they don’t sell in a month, Fillmore gives things time to sell and will let you take them back if they don’t. Downsides: They seem to be feeling their way on pricing, so the first items I took there were, I think, marked lower than they should have been. And they only give you 40 percent(they take 60), and then deduct a 75 cent check processing and mailing fee. But they are moving my stuff, and I’m glad to have that option in the neighborhood. Maybe they’ll inspire Secondi to become more consigner-friendly.

I stopped to browse at Fillmore &5th during my lunch break, and I am super glad that I did. It is easily one of the best consignment stores in DC and definitely the best in Dupont. They offer a range of brands – from Helmut Lang to Top Shop – as well as a range of prices. They sell tops for $ 45+ and shoes as expensive as $ 200. The staff at the shop provided great customer service, and the store seems to prioritize selling lightly worn, clean, and wrinkle-free clothes. Yup, I totes saw a steam cleaner at the store, and it was being actively used the entire time that I was there. They sell work dresses, date night attire, shoes(boots, heels, and flats), skirts, winter coats, statement tops, and obviously, pants, if that’s your scene. The only reason that I am not giving this new consignment boutique 5 stars is because of the limited range of sizes. I saw several cute items – an evening dress and two light jackets – but it was all size small or size 4. I don’t know who consigns their clothes here, but they must be fun-sized. There was a range of medium-sized tops, but I know better than to expect that my gals will fit in a designer size medium. I definitely had a Cinderella’s stepsister moment while agonizing over a too-small black Helmut Lang jacket. In any case, I fully expect that once more people start consigning(I know I will!) that the store will offer a wider range of sizes. I will definitely be back!
